Lv74 Ret/Prot Pally + Gearing halp.

    • Hey guys, i've been abusing this website since i created my ret pally 74 twink about a week ago... But after searching endlessly im still unable to find a 71 - 74 Ret or Prot "BiS" guide or anything...

    Chardev was a great resource, i've sussed out most of the gear that i need... But, im wondering if theres some really overpowered 71-74 items for ret/prot pallys (i.e similar to niffs bearded axe) that i am not aware of! (maybe from a quest or somthing, iono :\)

    Use the gear provided in the BiS PvP thread but gem full str as resi is scaled to shit for 74s. Get Niff for Mainhand and use the 72 engineering goggles.

    I suggest you just go and throw your characted off the top of an in-game cliff/tower, whatever floats your boat, and as soon as you hit the bottom and you die, just Alt+F4 and never return to the game in the 70 twinking bracket, nobody likes 71-74's in the bracket, and you ruin the bracket for everyone else, for reasons such as; Wings, 70's not being able to get hit cap for 74's, and the fact you can take 70's out of stealth just because of level difference.
     
    Ahaha... constructive comments would be nice, so theres nothing better than i've already got?

    Is there any other 74 twinks out there??? so far i havent come across one, sept a combat double niff rogue which we farmed... if anyone knows of a 74 twink (Plate dps) please give me a link to armory, wana check out what setup they running!
     
    There's some players around, like Taurenjonttu (dunno if spelled right), who play as 74's. But must say they're frowned upon. As a 74 you will never get respect.
     
    Man only been in this bracket for a week, and the amount of hate im getting for being level 74 and doing arena is amazing! people make alts after we outplay them in and start flaming, im not going to lie its pritty funny

    Could i get a brief over view of how exactly you outplay people as a double tazzik disc / 74 ret ? or were you just being sarcastic, I really really hope you were for your sake...
     
    all the teams that play at 2300+ are running 700-800 resil, and only hits for around 1500-3000... so its impossible to just "double tazzik faceroll" off the bat, you have to set it up son!

    So in order to set the kill up it goes like this,

    Pop (Wings- Instant 6-8k) (Double Tazik if you're unlucky you'll hit for 5-6k (Joint tazik) if you're lucky it's nearly 8-10k, Than DR hammer not to mention the unfair advantage you have over increased stealth detection.

    The main reason why people roll 74's is because they want an unfair advantage over rogues/feral and pretty much every class at 70 with spells that aren't even in the 70 bracket.

    To me, personally 74s are an outcast to the bracket and anyone playing them will be STUNNED BLUD.

    Was 3-1 to us as soon as i learned your gibbing in the opener capabilities.

    Yes me getting CCd to Africa = repeatedly trapping dps as if it cant be dispelled... would probably be better to use CC on the healer who has to trinket your first 4 second stun to stay alive by using another 2 min healing CD (natures swiftness) because trinket has a 2 min CD which means i can't get out of the CC and you can kill some one else. :)

    and even when you did kill our rogue your tazik hunter couldn't stop me ressing him again in a 2v2... would be nice to tank your mmr again though :)
    (pro tip: keep the healer in combat so they cant res a fallen combatant)

    It's funny how you say you have to trinket Cheap shot, the thing is we don't use tazik for the opener. Even if you was forced to use trinket what stops the rogue from disarming me and the DK Gripping our hunter away to insure you don't have to use trinket on the open. (Pro tip, use earth shield on your rogue when hes in stealth and not playing aggressive, or switch it to the Deathknight when we sap him because that totally means we're going for him, joke you're already dead)

    "3-1 to us" you won once due to a mistake on our behalf, after that we gained no pressure from your team and it was like farming 1.5k players, the sad thing is your rogue wasn't half bad. Just a shame he didn't peel off of you, in other respects i don't know what your death knight was doing.
     
    Its awkward because you don't have a clue Meats used tazik in the opener like clockwork every game...

    We lost on Nagrand after gibbing rogue in the opener
    next game was tomb humping and bloody close but we won by killing hunter just as you almost killed me after i had to blow everything in the opener
    next was blades edge and was the 20 min game where you killed the rogue and my dk counter killed your rogue so was 15 mins of trying to res which went in our favor due to meats lack of awareness and trapping into AMS

    Cant remember 4th match but it was around that time that we discovered you had a pvp video and were killing ourselves laughing, like i said chin up fell :)
