Got my hat on my first day of fishing. Also got my boots the same day, like a week after the slapped the level 35 on them :/ I consider myself lucky.

I got my hat after about 6 months of fishing, while getting one line before that. I did call my hat on the cast I got it though

Hey, I'm keen to know, can a lv19 win the comp, and use the trink rewarded? My paladin has already won the Northrend one. . . . Won that first ever try, caught the fish in 7 minutes + Dal hearth. Shakiest quest hand in of my life, couldn't believe my luck haha. WTB STV Fish comp lv19 winner!

after fishing for an hour and a half, i had 128 fish



I did a BG because I was quitting



As soon as I came out , I got the racer fish ( boots ) on first catch.



Then I got the keen angler fish 5 fish later...

got my hat on rogue after 3mins of fishing, but for pally it took 2 tries

I have farmed for it a total of 10 times for the total 2 hours and I gave up for awhile. Then in cata I got 2 in my first 2 weeks of going for it. Now for my 3rd...

A lvl 19 can win the tourney and use the trinket. I can confirm this personally.
