Lucky day!

How many days on avg would you say did it take you to get your hat(s)?



I got mine probably after about 4 days, on the fourth day.. early in the morning I was going to pay Earth to fish for me because I'm so unlucky ALL THE TIME, and she said "Neow!" so I went for it anyways, about 15 minutes in I was getting sad that I'd probably waste my day again, so I type in /1 WTB KEEFER, I it enter, as soon as I it enter my rod goes off, wouldn't you know it, Keefer Sutherland himself was on my pole, I looted that bastard, burned sprint, got my damn hat!
 
I got lucky and got it on my 2nd day on my druid :p
 
Well i was one of the lucky bastard today :)

And i have spent around 6 sundays fishing for 2h straight and just got today, so im veryy happy :D
 
Yeah you guys are lucky...I have done 64 Sundays. Today will be the 65th *sigh One day I will get a fishing hat!
 
Draynor got 3 in one tournament, then in my old guild in rampage we had 5 guys get either a hat or boots. I caught six pairs of boots one tournament while going for a hat. Three of the six were back to back to back =).
 
Yeah 64 times +today. So 65 = / Have 9 pairs of boots and 5 lines and I still have a striped racer and a queenfish I still haven't turned in yet. And I fished them both up in last tourny T.T
 
So i was fishing this one time and got a Dezian Queenfish. Thought it was a Keefer. Burned my Hearth. Tried to turn it in and got a fishing line. Congratulations to all who got it. Trying in 2 hours. :)
 
Haha. I have been at it off and on for about four years now.. maybe around 70 contests altogether. I haven't gotten one on my 19.. I sort of think the GM's are screwing with me. The week after (patch 2.1.3 I believe it was, where we lost leg armor and whatnot) I got my fishing boots. With level 35 requirement ofc :)



However, I made a dodge twink about a year ago for kicks and giggles, nothing I was planning on even playing upon completion, just so I had my 10 out of the way (I am working on a rogue of each bracket). The very first contest I went to, with roughly 20 fishing from getting deviates.. I got the hat >.< lol. But I can't just bring that one up to 19 and call it good because I have all the grandfathered stuff on it =/ lol.



So, I conclude, if you fish on a toon you don't plan on using, you are relatively assured the hat :D
