Low hit rating, please help!

I've recently changed my hunter's melee weapon from Impaling Harpoon to Keeshan's Dagger to try and improve her hit rating, but i'm still not happy. I know that Haunting Blade will give her the boost she needs but it comes at the cost of agility and stamina and brings unwanted strength with it.



Is there any other way to improve her hit rating that doesn't have such a huge cost?



(Sharannah's armory link is in the sig, I've only recently replaced her cloak and haven't enchanted it yet)

Its more of a rant now, so its not so useful in this situation. Instead you should try Pizza's Hunter Guide, Sharannah.



Anyway, go back to your Impaling Harpoon and use [item]Deviate Scale Belt[/item] instead. That will sort out your hit rating.

do you have Ellos Band? also, i have seen many people use Grand Staff of Jordan, but idk if you have boas.

Thanks for the suggestions, Impaling Harpoon doesn't have any hit rating on it at all, so with it equipped, my hit rating is even worse. If you look at Sharannah's armory, she has Ello's Band. In all my planning for her gear, I had forgotten about the hit rating on the deviate scale belt.



On a side note: I'm trying to put together a decent twink without BOA gear, as a challenge

Seeing as you are alliance, I'd suggest using this weapon if Hit Rating is a problem:

It not only looks good, but has the best stats for any hunter lacking hit rating!

7 agi on gloves -> 15 agi

5 stam on bracers -> 9 stam

5 hit on boots -> minor speed

He's a hunter, he'll never die when he's 2 shotting everything. 1 Per BG and he's good to go.



Plus even if he is dying a shit ton in BGs and has to continue reapplying+buying more, he should know that twinking isn't cheap. Btw it'll never cost more than 5g a pop which is not expensive.

Twinking isn't cheap, but fortunately I have an alchemist, enchanter and leatherworker that all help support my twink
