Lot of people getting banned

Any links ?

+100000players*$15*6months=+$9000000 loss of monies for blizzard..

Ouch.....I could use DAT kind of monies

Those accounts still have to pay their monthly subscription fee. Certainly many of those accounts that were botters bought and used the tokens. Which means Blizzard already got their money. (All part of the master plan)
Unless you use a time card that you purchase at a store, you would have to cancel your WoW subscription to stop your CC from getting charged. And I don't even know if a temporary banned account can cancel. It may be part of the EULA. After all the botters did break a contract.

Just a small update on the case

Off topic:
Have you heard that since the WoD launch blizzard lost 3million subscribers within the 1st quarter of its release? That's even worse than 100000+ players getting temporarily banned. There are multiple WoW YouTubers who tell their opinions about it......

Have you tried to remove your CC after you have been banned for using an illicit program? There are reports that it has been disallowed.
I do not know for a fact as I have never been banned. One would think that a CC account would automatically be suspended.
Bots have been a growing menace in WoW that have been neglected for way too long. Everyone knows they are there yet they do nothing about them. I can think of at least one analogy here in the US. But this forum is not the place to voice that particular pov.

they lost a lot of people cause their servers were crashing all the time. Afaik their subscription count dropped drastically right after WoD, but has been growing since that.

I thought the initial Warlords of Draenor hype brought subs up to 10m at some point.
And I really doubt that Blizzard wouldn`t allow you to cancel a sub while banned unless you`ve paid them in advance at which point you`re shit outta luck.
There are laws against being unable to cancel subscriptions.

you can 100% remove your credit card or cancel your monthly sub. when your wow account gets banned you can still remove your payments

so a tldr for all of this dont bot u will eventually get banned and dont make a bot you will eventually be hunted down by blizzard and they will try to sue the pants off of you

I know, but no one here was talking about making bots.. The post was just somewhat irrelevant. Especially seing that Blizz just lost a lawsuit against Honorbuddy

the lawsuit had nothing to do with bots tho :)

Sure they can. Anyone can be sued by for anything. Whether the suit is successful is another story. I had to learn this the hard way.
Everyone knew what I was talking about, butt thank you for stating the obvious.

#selfmadebots #stillnotbanned #Quitsoitdoesntreallymatteranyways

Despite being overpriced macs surface lvl bøtting is surprisingly incognito as it doesn't send any in game code but just key smashes in predetermined patterns to get stuff done. Easy to learn and very useful IRL if your creative............ i should make a guide ........ doubt many ppl have macs though as gamers are usually more pc prone.

Blizzard can do what they want as long as it is in the EULA that you agreed to. It is legal and binding. It is their intellectual property. We are just renting time on their servers.
It is akin to digital downloads from Apple. Technically you do not "own" those. If you did you could make as many copies as you wanted and put them on all of your devices. Instead you are held to the constraints held forward in the ULA that you agreed to when you downloaded iTunes.

Yes, WoW lost approximately 2.5 million subs in Q1. However in Q4 of 2014 they had reached a peak of over 10 million. We are at about the same amount of subs as were last year. I am sure that Blizzard had accounted for this in their business model and that is why they have been pushing so hard on some of their other games. In fact, some of the subs they lost may have went to their other games.
