Losing WSG to people that HK KB farm?

I've been losing a lot of WSG due to people farming HKs and KBs. What do you do in this situation?



I seem like I'm always on D with ppl with 400hp. None of the twinks ever D up. Im just getting frustrated.
 
don't go on D...



against farmers, when your team is bad, you need to grab the flag yourself sometimes. waiting on D will only make you eventually lose.
 
Correct, most farmers are horrid at awareness skills, if you hide and run up the horde gy to alliance ramp or vise versa, you usually get away with it.



Won a game ealier today 3-0, 9 twinked horde, 5 of them were hunters 2 were healers. Alliance had 5 twinks, 3 hunters, a lock, and a warrior. We won because I carried the flag while my team mates distracted them mid field.



Timing is just as important as route, if you go when all your team mates are dead then theres a much higher chance of you dieing solo.
 
I dunno. I HK farm in every WSG basically, but I always pay attention to the flags as well.
 
I said most, on top of this if your farming then that means you constally have people running at it, thus its harder to catch a carrier.



If you stop farming after some one grabs the flag that means my team mates are live to assist me, it takes a bit of time to go from the gy to the ramp.

But if you're farming the other team at the base of their GY, and someone from their team manages to grab the flag, no one will be able to assist them because they're all dead. Then your team can just swoop in for a quick return.
 
I have tried to get their flag many many times but 1 14 twink going for the flag when there are 3 of theirs on D doesn't happen.



I basically said screw it and farmed too one round. I got 113 HKs that round and like 18 KBs.
 
Usually I farm till I am bored or frustrated by the situation (i.e. I am the only alliance twink and horde has 3 twinks that aren't even close to beating me 1v1 but 3v1 are killing me over and over agian.) At that point I will take the flag myself and score 3/3 if I need to. A lot of times I farm until one team has 2 and then go figure out what needs to be done with flag. If we are down by 2 that means me picking up the flag and then finding the EFC to get back to 1-2 at the least. Rinse and repeat. But never do I defend unless I am semi afk (i.e. reading this forum in wsg :p) Even then though I have found that warrior is not as nice as I'd hope it would be for defense. Too many gouge+100% speed boots/sprint. I'd rather be caught in the middle and go find the EFC to return it myself.



I can understand the frustration of HKs vs. winning. But I will not be one to stop killing to go win the game. For me the honour to farm is usually 2-3x the bonus (usually I average 120 honour kills and 20-30 killing blows depending how many ninjas are in the bg...sometimes I have 2x the damage and like 4 killing blows vs. some huntard who has 30 of my killers haha) and I have 100 marks and every reward I could desire, so marks and bonus honour aren't worth a thing. I will even grab the flag myself in some extremely desireable bgs (i.e. Horde has a low amount twinks or I am just simply dominating) and farm with the flag. Last thing I would want is for some lvl 10 in greys grab the flag and win the bg while I am on a farm fest...
 
I just go on defense if my team is farming the middle all the time. Most of the time they'll move up to the EFR if I stall the game long enough.
 
Everyone needs HK's but I believe winning is more important because flag caps and wins give Reputation. (Unless you are already exalted). However I usually farm becuase someone from the pug will usually be going for ironman or quick cap, and as long as the farmers can "suppress their O" this is enough to win. But man, I really nerd rage when we are losing and people are still "farming"
 
Totally spaced out the Reputation bit. It does make it worthwhile to win in the longrun, but while I am still 2k away from Battle Standard, I will keep farming muwhahha :p
 
Tbh , farming mid or farming GY is the most retarded noob thing anyone can do . Oh look , i haz 100 kills this game but we lost 3-0 !!!

And the best thing is the alliance kids complaining that horde wont que for BG when they are sat farming in the horde GY for 30 mins .... Pathetic .



Some people swear blind that its a valid strategy to distract them while your team caps , but Imo , where is the honour and respect for your opponents when you are a fully twinked (Insert class here) killing lvl 31's all afternoon ?



Thats why i almost exclusively go to arena , guaranteed a 35 + with at least some chance of a decent game .

I also get emo when i see 5 or 6 fully twinked alliance sitting in/under gy and I always give them hell about it .
 
Sometimes, if you have the patience for it, you can get your pugs to help you win. I remember a couple games where I played against at least 4 horde twinks with nothing but untwinked 38s and 39s on my side, and we won anyway, because my team sheeped, snared, and otherwise cced those twinks off my tail while I ran the flag.



That doesn't happen too often, and sometimes you just aren't up for the verbal battle to get your teammates to play well. At that point I usually try to run the flag early on. I lost track more than a year ago of all the times I lost games 3-1 because the other team didn't expect me to go straight for the flag and then pop every cooldown to get it across before they realized what was happening. Heck, I've seen a few good alliance twinks pull that on 3 or 4 man groups my guild has run. No matter how good the team, sometimes they're too overconfident.

Lets a 5-man group rotate them to always have it up, since they have a 2 min duration. ^^

Who said anything about camping 31s? Camping all the 39 twinks at the GY is the best part. :)
