Loot/Tagging partially bugged?

Hi,

i figured if i can get northern engineering, i might as well try to get jeeves.
I tried a few creatures (including the sentinels just below ulduar) and it just doesnt work.
It fails with the error message: "target is tapped"

It doesnt matter if the high level char is in the group with the low level or not.
(It even doesnt matter if the high level char is outside the group and only applies a power word shield to the 19s damaging and killing the mob).


Anyone else have any ideas?

Pretty sure you would still be locked to looting grey vendor trash like in Legion.

explain please? havnt played much in legion.

my idea was: kill stuff, loot it... and then the engineer can "mine" the corpses...

Well there goes my afternoon plans...

I believe it may only be that mob you are farming.

I killed a rare mob in Storm Peaks on a 110 with my 10 in group and was able to "deconstruct" him via engineering back in 7.3.5 on my 10. Not sure if the patch changed this or not...

even tho it does display:
loot:caice


maybe its because of the level difference? a group of us could certainly zerg one down. (they hit lighter than other pvpers, the main issue is missing attacks ... due to lack of the hit stat, or level difference)

seems to share same looting rule where you unable to loot skull mobs.
do keep on try folks.
also the items doesn't seem to come in mail from post master even with auto loot.

tried with 2 19s in borean tundra, nothing...
looterang also doesnt work
also tried entering ulduar and halls of lighting/stone.. still doesnt work

I made a Jeeves on a 19 twink and my brother on a 10 twink yesterday, so I can confirm this is easy to get.

Edit: I did get the plans the day before pre-patch so that may be a factor. Have not tried getting plans on more toons post-prepatch.

Edit 2: Just went back to where I got the plans the day before pre-patch, and I can no longer loot the mobs.
