Looking to get back into twinking, have some questions about specific classes

20 mage > 29 mage?

Not sure how you derived that from my post. No level 20 twink is better than a level 29 twink on paper. Which player they are in hands of is a different story.

The only real problem with MistWeaver is that you are doing the same thing a Resto Shaman does... just worse. If you are evenly geared in Super Intelligence gear (which you should be)... as a MW you are attacking up close and you in more danger all the time, and your heals are pretty much similar. You can heal more as a MW, but not by much, but the damage is WAY in Resto's favor... and its ranged damage so you are less likely to just me killed.

I do like both, but... resto just has the true power here.

As a F2P player, healing is the way to go if you want to make a difference in pugs. At least for me.

Being a caster gets boring for me sometimes so being able to play a “melee healer” is a fun difference.
