Looking to get back into the 49 bracket

It's been like 4 years since I remember Qing for good games.

I'm open to different classes. I have a 49 warrior that I could twink out more, I have an old 49 twink hunter that got nerfed a lot with the atalai breastplate and ribsplitters it had are all useless now. Not sure how the rest of its gear is. Elmahfudd on crushridge.

I have a druid at 29 I could bring up and a priest at 41. Open to any classes really. Lots of experience with WSG and AB.

Hunters still are the best damage dealers.:mad:
I have a warrior with 41% armor and 40% pvp reduction and I got critten in BG for 2.75k with aimed shot. I actually recorded it :) Going to put it online soon.
A mage in my group even got hit over 3.4k XD
Thats more then 2 times as much as my best crit on a hunter XD and blizzard is even planning to nerf the damage of MS and slame even more.. Why??? lol...

Worst part is that, when I finaly with 10% hp left, reached the hunter he dodged 3 of my attacks XD
I feel so USELESS as a warrior... its not fun anymore...

Yeah being a hunter was beast back in the day. Even though I played on Cyclone which was I think one of the worst battle-servers. I had some of the best fights of PVP in this bracket and was sad when it died.

I saw a video someone posted of a warrior taking out a druid. I thought that was pretty impressive. Think it was the same neo from back in the day. Which I remember him being good.

I'm finding my 41 disc priest isn't as good as in other brackets. I leveled him from 10-41 all pvp so i've seen how OP they were in the previous brackets. Unless penance finally got stabilized.

I wouldn't mind rolling a rogue. My old twink rogue Lefante (29's and briefly 49s) is leveled up to 80 now unfortunately cause hes so close to Justicar.

I'm not even sure if it was that big of a nerf. I just realized when I logged that I had no chest and no weapons and was pissed cause it took a long time to farm that stat breastplate and to find those eagle splitters.

But it seemed they were going to become useless about when I quit when hunters were going surv.

I'm glad to see things are back MM as thats what I have experience as.
 
Here's our 49's thread for games if youre interested. We do fight nights now, since we dont have the numbers to pop games all day. 49s thread of Tremendous Anticipation - Forums - World of Warcraft. Most 49 guilds from cyclone have been somewhat consolidating on boulderfist Dont Shoot, both factions, so we may have a name or two that you remember playing with.

Right now, survival is damage is pathetic but marks/beast isn't too bad.

Are you talking about the neo that used to run around with boltz in backjump? He's still around playing 49's btw.

Is he a 49 warrior? EU or US?

Neo's an oldschool 49 pvper on cyclone from BC, perhaps even vanilla wow. Seeing that Elmafudd played from about 4 years ago before cyclone merged with ruin, there's a good chance this is the neo he's talking about. Keep in mind, this was before Neo joined DS, and was in another guild.

Yeah I used to play with Boltz when he rolled ally in Crushridge taking some remaining Crucial Conflict twinks to Back Jump.

Which was good cause I was tired of getting wrecked by his gang of Forum Trolls.

Does anyone know if Threepally still plays?

Unfortunately Boltz no longer plays, he's been hardcore into guildwars 2 from what I hear. I have emailed him to see if I could get him back into 49s and you're welcomed to try yourself =) Also, if you're ready to retune your hunter, you can find help at Battletag and Real ID player list | 49pvp.com. We're in the process of putting together a more transparent system to assist people who are willing to offer or need runs.

My tag is under sneakycat, we're offering full resources to get BIS to twinks on boulderfist, including all boas without a main if you happen to be interested in a reroll.

As for Threepally, I haven't seen him since xp off went live. Last I saw, he was in an XP on game, farming the poor shmoes. This was before Real ID and coordinated 49 twink games became available to us.

I started getting some more BoAs on the hunter. Just need like 50 more JP for the chest and gotta do those quests for strength of the high chief. But I wouldn't be opposed to rerolling another char. on boulderfist and being on the same server. What do you need in particular?

Alliance can use an FC. I'd recommend a monk or druid at this point, both are very new types with high potential. They can both also offspec incase there's another FC, pallies and especially warriors can at a much lesser extent.

Horde is more open to anything but priests/druids and probably monks at this conjuncture.

I'd recommend you level a char, maybe even 2, to level 15 as soon as you can. Darkmoon faire is coming next week, and it takes 2 faires to get one boa (weapon+chest usually) Shoulders are from PVP, you can do this to level, and guild boas are easily bought. Please feel free to add my battletag, Intrigue#1950, if you have any further questions!

I think I wasn't clear, I meant it takes one level 15 two months to reasonably get one boa. Since there's a need for chest+ weapon boa, it's a good incentive to have two level 15's if you're in a hurry. I'm not clear on the exact number but I believe you can get 80+ tickets inside per week, per level 15+. =D Good link though.
 
Darkmoon BoA Farming Guide


Dailies: Each awards 1 ticket and can be completed 8 times (twice the first day if done both before and after dailies reset at 4 am.)

40 tickets (8 x 5)


Profession Quests: Each 4 tickets (for primary professions) + 3 tickets (for secondary professions) (Assuming doing this @ lvl 19 so Archaeology not counted)

17 tickets (4 x 2) + (3 x 3)


Test Your Strength: 10 tickets


Artifact Quests:

55 tickets ((5 x 3) + (10 x 4)

Fallen Adventurer's Journal (5 tickets)
Banner of the Fallen (5 tickets)
Captured Insignia (5 tickets)
Imbued Crystal (10 tickets)
Monstrous Egg (10 tickets)
Mysterious Grimoire (10 tickets)
Ornate Weapon (10 tickets)


To sum up :

40 + 17 + 10 + 55 = 122 pretty enough for armor and 1h weps


+If you drop your profession after finishing quest and train another skill to 75, then another profession's quest become available.So you can get 4 x 9 = 36 more tickets from primary profession quests.

122 + 36 = 158

++If you do this with a lvl 20 dummy char +4 tickets from Archaeology

158 + 4 = 162 this is your new 2H wep

Yup, you're absolutely right, if someone is really in a hurry go grind for all the tickets. I'm not trying to split hairs, i just dont expect people to grind more 60-90 tickets in a week is what i'm trying to say. The workload scales too much when you need them in a hurry. So i suggest to most people that it takes 2 darkmoons for a boa usually.

It's good to know that a truly focused person can grind 160 tickets in a week though I'll be amazed if anyone did archeology for tickets at all.
