Alliance Lives Matter
I feel like the most of us can agree that 19 random battlegrounds are fucking aids consisting of frag belts, stupid premade comps, and just overall a fuckfest of crap geared toons and tryhard potters. For me, and other people that enjoy competitive 19s, this discourages us from queing. I don't find random battlegrounds fun and haven't since they merged xp on and xp off brackets.
With that being said, I think the 19 bracket is in a pretty solid spot right now when it comes to class balance and this should be taken advantage of instead of what it is right now, which is just a pathetic scene. 6 weeks ago I decided to build a team for the twink cup, I did so, and we competed fairly well, we didn't play our best, do the best, but we had a damn good time, especially the weeks before the twink cup. We played almost every night and now that twink cup is over and all the teams are hiding under rocks my team is bored and yelling at me to do something about it. So here is my idea.
I would like to build a second team, my current team and this new team would play each other, swap members depending on team fluency and overall effectiveness of that player and give each team an ability to improve in more of a light hearted, but still fun and competitive way. Ideally this would be set up like in guild wargames, but it will be two separate teams, just managed under yours truly.
I am already working on filling both rosters but obviously don't have 20+ solid people interested and committed to playing so thats why I am here.
If you are interested in continuing a 19 competitive scene during the off season of twink cup then I'd encourage you to take part in this and join one of the two teams. Obviously there are still other teams we can play but I don't see the potential in those teams queing as much as ours would. Most of the twink cup contenders this year can vouch for the amount of games my team played and will play if we can get a committed group of 20+ players ready to practice and hopefully get to the point where the competitive 19 scene can come back. I'd like to add that this will be on the alliance side and we will help you gear if your alliance toon has dust on its shoulders.
Also, if you have a team of your own, or looking to make your own team, definitely add my btag: Daylight#1802 and we can set up some matches, my team will play anyone, any day, this is where we like to be, and want to continue to be here.
