looking for info on locks

hello, my name is conflagz, i just dinged a few days ago and need some advice on my lock , he is a destro main spec affliction off spec

i would like to know the following if you people of twinkinfo would be so kind :) :

how much haste should i aim for:
how much crit :
how much hit:
how much rezil:
and how much spell pen:

also a bis list would help me out a lot,

besides the gearing i would also love to know some macros and some tips and tricks on how to play a lock at lv 70

any other additional info that you guys seem fit i would definatly enjoy too <3 thanks guys
 
P.S. i do enjoy both bgs and arenas, and as such if there's different rating and such for both then then i would like to know too, thanks
 
Don't make a warlock. Shit class is shit. Have fun being ganked by rogues without having any chance to win.

Don't understand people like you. Maybe it's fun playing at a disadvantage to most classes? When you win it makes them look shit which adds to a victory. Anyway, dont be a prick.

how much haste should i aim for: realistcally you will want to have some pve bits with haste on and gem resi to make up for the defence. say about 25% would do you nicely.
how much crit : crit isnt really a big thing to aim for. It comes with the gear, but you usually sit around 25-30%
how much hit: 4.2%
how much rezil: 450-550 depending on your gear.
and how much spell pen: 96
 
uhm please be constructive i love warlocks ik there not as op as other classes but i enjoy it so yeah :)

I'm liking you already :eek:

For arenas I'd aim for a bit higher resi since you'll be tunneled like a train most of the time. Also, try to run with a disc priest if you can, suppression and dome will be a godsend for you ^^
 
I don't actually mate. There is a minimal amount of warlock twinks and non yet have been bothered to make one. Including me.
 
I belive battlemaster trinket is pretty decent for locks...
 
locks are fun no doubt.... pretty sure trinket from sunwell, i think it's shifting naaru sliver would replace BoA trinket...
 
well i was thinking of getting my engineering up and getting the intellect trinket. also going to replace my main/off hands with that staff from sunwell with 3 slots, and those legs from sunwell with 3 slots, i forgot names, and im tired ill post which ones tomorrow afternoon, goodnight for now,
my quest continues tomorow! =D
 
I think locks are alot of fun at 70.. I have 2 lvl 70 lock twinks.. :p the best part is that everyone think they are crap, but if you learn to use it, you can beat most of the other twinks, since all the scrubs had to lvl a rogue/mage/priest twink after they got so damn buffed, its fun to beat them in duels..

Im currently gearing my new lock, and if you have any questions, log on and trow me a whisper..

any chance i can real id you or maybe you can come on my vent or something? i have like an essay of questions about locks and i honestly want to get good with locks in all aspects ( duel bg arena) itde be great if you could :)
 
It's fun to read how all these people 'faceroll' the fotm classes in duels. Yes, I do have a wlock and 'high' arena exp. at 85 so I have atleast the common knowledge. Beating mages and priests isn't necessarily hard, but good ones are still quite a challange. And what about rogues? Beating a good, by good I mean really good rogue is not just possible(unless you loltazik confla him down to 0% from 100%). Even bad rogues are hard enough to defeat and if you happen to face one without succubus or trinket you can consider yourself with 99% possibility a dead meat.

Talking about 1v1 scenarios ofc, it's a whole different game with a healer backing you up.
 
sounds good, ive been enjoying demo lately too, and i personally now hate affliction, jsut not enough damage imo, so i went demo/ destro now
