EU+US Looking for help figuring out best gear and talents

Hey all,

I've remade the 19 Quickstart Gearing Guide for legion. I've got several holes in my data though that I could use your help for. If you see any missing data or can help with any of the following points, it would be super appreciated!

  • Viable Talent choices for most specs
  • Ranged weapons - how do BG crate weapons (both 27 and 23) compare to heirloom gun? Any other notable weapons? Can I get the speed and weapon damage range for them?
  • 2H weapons - how do BG crate weapons (both 27 and 23) compare to heirloom axe? Are there any other notable weapons? Can I get the speed and weapon damage range for them?
  • Do shields drop from BG crates?
  • Do random dungeon satchels drop the proper armor type belts for mail/plate users in legion?
  • What are the best gloves/belt obtainable for plate wearers? Are there any better than what I currently have listed?
  • What hunter pet spec is best? And/or when to use which pet spec?
  • Do warlocks ever use anything but the imp?
  • Are windwalker monks limited to certain weapon types? Is there any reason to use 2 1hers over 1 2her?
  • What is the best wand? Wowhead lists it as Charred Razormane Wand (ilvl 23)? Is there any obtainable ilvl 24 wand? Perhaps from the BG crate?

Trying to figure out if dungeon satchels can give mail gear to hunters. So far I've gotten 3 cloaks. Still well within RNG expectations, but starting to look like its possible that mail/plate wearers can ONLY get cloaks from the satchels...

You have ??? for Destro Talents. I've been testing out shadowburn for the pat few days and often get top KBs or Damage or both. Broke 100k damage in AB not sure if that's significant
