Looking for a "new" computer

tbh, until my employment status is a little more "locked down" (sick and tired of "we'll call you" >_<) I really can't spend more than 5-600$



I'd love to come in less than that.. which is why I was thrilled to see those emachines but after reading reviews and such, no one places much faith in them

Edit: before i got the computer i have now i had an Acer and i liked it for the most part only thing about it was that it was quite noisy

Aarghh! I too am looking for a new computer. I'm trying to compare 2 of them and the only noticeable difference is:



GPU/VPU Type:

A. NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250

B. NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX+



Option B costs $15 more than Option A

Don't even consider touching Vista for a gaming machine. It's awful.
