Longboards

Does anybody else on the forums own a longboard? and if you do, you guys just cruise or do any of you guys do any freestyle and sliding? Possibly board dancing? Just interested if anybody else shares the hobby.
 
surfing or skateboarding? I like to longboard in the fullerton hills, its all about carving. surfing, eh waters to cold. I mean its fun and all but skateboarding just is just easier to me.

Im from Chicago so i cant surf :/ but I do skate a little, not very good though. But Iv gotten really into longboarding and snowboarding. I can slide on my longboard now.
 
try and invest in a carve board. youtube some of that shit. those guys are awesome. ya i cant do ollies for shit i just like to find a big hill and ride it. =D

Haha ight, and you should look up freebords too.

I started out with a sector :p i worked my way up and got myself an earthwing supermodel, got some randal 180s, otang stims, and bone reds to go with it :)
 
i have ~3 longboards Im trying to sell atm, i REALLY want a freebord...so sick
 
I enjoy just cruising around even tho i think a original skateboard is alot for fun. Kick flips are fun ashell ;)

Truthfully their tricky as hell to use, and not as fun. I mean their alright but i prefer the longboards over them so much. But then again i like crusing around, the speed, and slides. Freebords are alot different than you may expect.

i have a sector9 that i got like 5 years ago. havnt used it in a long time because i dont go outside but it was fun while it lasted.

im guessing theyre companys or product lines. just like any other sport

"oh i had an alienware deck, then an element", same for like skiiing/snowboarding/etc
