Actually, I believe it's rather rare that the person who bought a stolen object gets convicted for it, it's really hard for the court to prove that he did know it was stolen.

I get what you are saying, and you make some good points. That aside, $100 can be a huge hit for students, which I believe Derv is. Maybe you guys can privately make some sort of compromise.
