LifeStealing for f2p

Apologies should be mine - I did do the hour on Felspore Bog Lord - but pasted in your post after a long day & got my mobs mixed up. (I did a couple of Treants, but nothing of interest dropped.)

So no damage done. I'll edit my post.

I think Dire Maul (DM) Capital Gardens seems the way to go. Slow but better & I'll keep track.
Alright cool, but... hang on.
The Bog lords didn't shit any https://www.wowhead.com/item=12803/living-essence either?! I remember the drop rate being poor but still efficient enough to warrant the farm?! I do think that Classic time is required, but... no matter.
All things considered, DM is probably a good choice anyhow.

In order to put in to practise some of the kind advice above, I spent 30 Minutes with Kiwano in just the first courtyard of Dire Maul (Capital Gardens) last night, which got me this:

Didn't count the runs, but it was quite fast because I had Infinitely Divisible Ooze working for me. (On my Guardian Druid Moonfire being a DOT "seems" to help this appear more often as has been suggested elsewhere.) If I have one or two up I tackle a boss, otherwise not.

So as advised, lots of useful herbs, several greens I didn't have for transmog, if that floats your boat, but six Living Essence. :D

(Sometimes none dropped, best at that stage was two in a run.)

I then did one further run untimed, clearing that same courtyard plus the downstairs (inside) & upstairs (outside courtyard mezzanine level) of the next section.

On that run I got three more Living Essence (my best single haul yet) plus five Essence of Undeath by killing anything with "Eldreth" in the name.

Key to all this is, as any statistician will tell you, that I always wear my Talisman of True Treasure Tracking for good luck. ;)

Hope this helps freeloading Lifestealing farmers like me avoid paying for their stress busting distractions.

Sharing the altruism. Enjoy.
