Ok, dumb question, but, I've been gone for over a year and was a little curious about this. I know the Leg Armors were removed sometime after I played last. I'm assuming since everyone seems to just be rocking regular armor kits in their armory, the old school head and leg librams are still not usable by twinks?

Does anyone know if this will change for the new BoA headpiece coming in Cataclysm?

Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning? He asked a question, didn't need to get cursed at .

Terrific.......info from a year and a half ago! How about something current, smart ass. ;)

Why the f would, oh i don't know...... talent trees, or hunters convert from mana to focus, or paladins gainholy power, or any number of things change in Cataclysm? Because it does.

And what exactly did your 1 min of research accomplish? About the same thing as your worthless post..........not a thing

I did the same google searches and got the same out of date info. There have been posts from people describing new items and quest changes popping up on beta. Maybe those people have seen a change. Or maybe they are small minded pricks like you and didn't think about checking on it.

common sense would tell you that they probably put level requirement on it for a reason and probably wouldnt change that in cata

Common sense would tell me they wouldn't let people run around with 95% damage reduction........but they did. When has Blizz every applied common sense to anything? :D

Crazier things have happened.

*edit*

sorry post hit after the mod nudge

So, anyone seen anything out of the ordinary on Beta?

thats for lvl 80s and the unhealable dmg that was going on and that's gonna change again in cata and had nothing to do with twinking except that level 10s decided to abuse it and get that dmg reduction and is nothing at all like when they put level requirement on librams.

bad example

and no it havn't changed on beta (libram that is)

Seeing as how stat scaling has always been an issue. You'd think Blizz would have done a little more testing, especially with their increased attention to lower level content. The example is fine. Things change. Librams haven't...........yet. :D

Thanks!

Me heard something about boa legs, does that mean imba leg enchants with 40 stamina and shit coming back too? :pPpPP who knows, things change all the time :p

You are level 19.

Do the enchants scale? no,

Do the enchants have a specific level req to be active? yes.

Are you level 58 whilst wearing a fishing hat? No.

Are you level 58 whilst wearing a boa helmet? No.

Its pretty simple really. Why do people constantly assume the boa gear follows different rules than normal gear?

I left shortly after BoA gear was introduced, so my knowledge of it is rather poor. That being said, my original assumption was that it didn't work since that was the last thing I remember and hadn't seen anything to the contrary. I was looking for confirmation of this and checking to see if anyone noticed anything different in beta. A lot of stuff is changing. I wouldn't put it past Blizz to take a look at the original librams and start allowing them. It's not like they are nearly as problematic as the leg armors were or the high level head/shoulder librams. Rapidity, Voracity, Spellpower, Constitution, Protection...etc, are all on par with enchants on other slots. I don't think it's completely out of the question for those to come back.

With a variety of classes dishing out pretty high damage numbers, I'd welcome a little extra health.

Fochixi, did you get the answer you were looking for? And would you like me to close the thread for you? Just let me know as I'm sensing a lot of "google is hard" mentality here. While I get their point there's more tactful ways of communicating that Google can be a man's best friend.

Cheers!

I'll just assume that if someone on beta noticed anything, they would let us know, so.......

Close it, please.

Thank you.
