Nice find. Maybe increased drop chance off on or the mobs around him? To be honest idk if boxes found on a 101 would yield those coveted relics. From my own experience, they proc 101 810 IL from level 110 obtaining lockbox and rng. Could be wrong tho. If both cases good find
 
FYI: Lockboxes drop from all legion mobs.

And if you send them to a 110 and open them, they contain 780 greens and so on.
 
The question isn't if they drop from everything it's if some have higher drop chance. Also with the fact that relics being level 101 is a rare chance, maybe it's a little less rare opening on the 101 and the drop being on the 101. Nobody truly knows yet so therefore this is kind of a good fine if you are consistently getting more boxes off the certain mobs
 
I opened some Boxes on my 101s Shaman and got 2x 865er Gear for 110.

When opening all the keystone boxes I have on my 101 the highest I'll epic I have gotten is 895. Yes on my 101.
 
My current theory is that only boxes from non-scaling mobs can contain 810 relic.
Currently know of 4 examples of static level mobs dropping it.
1 from HC dungeon.
1 from invasion scenario.
1 from under Sentinax.
1 from Nighthold.

How can you be sure? Also isn't it pretty rare to get upgrades?
