Mages at 19 get beaten by other classes and a level 10 being a lesser version of a 19 (mage wise at least) would be logically beaten even easier.

I've seen plenty of good mages at 19 so maybe you're drawing the short end of the straw on that.

Yes but hes not trying to kill people... The whole point is for fast CC because of haste...

Even with the amount of haste you'll have, you'll have to throw twice as many spells just for being 10



edit: and that you'll be losing hp to attempt to stack haste which will make you...even more useless.

People talking about gloves of the moon, branding rod and beastmaster's girdle at their lvl 10 toons might rethink. Wowhead says;

-Mahren Skyseer requires lvl 17

-Jorn Skyseer requires lvl 13



Haven't tested this, but it looks like the lvl 10s might not get as many upgrades as they though. If wowhead is right.

I think the Branding Rod works for sure (the 21 dps wand amirite?), since I did the same quest on my hunter for the bow, and it looked like I also could pick the wand

I don't think that's the case Boglund, because the quest chain starts at level 10 -and it is a consecutive chain all the way to the end...or so I thought? But we shall see in 3.2 >< I really hope it's just like the STV Mastery Quests, where you're not saposed to do it until like level 35, but its a chain so you can do it at 28-29 ^^

I've experienced doing quests and not being able to continue the chainline in the middle of it. I even remember hearing my undead toon say "you're not high enough level to start this quest" or something. Don't understand how that could've occured but that's what I remember hearing once.
