Level one tanks.

I just rerolled alliance with some friends and then I convinced one of my friends to go level one with me. He's making a holy paladin, and then I wonder: What's the best tanking class? Are warrs viable? Since it might be booring with a rogue, since basicly everyone's a rogue ;p



Otherwise, I'm not goin to get any BoAs, since I'm gearing a new 80.. But I might get em in the long run, here's a chardev: character planner . ally tank w/o heirloom . chardev seven

You would be better off with a pally tank for the healing aggro. Warriors tend to have a hard time keeping aggro

Shaman > Paladin imo.

You heal faster than most hit. Pala heal is so slow sadly. They might heal more overall though, but you have to count with the increased amount of pushbacks.



+ don't roll with stamina. What you gonna do when you're OOM? If you don't have a solid amount of mp5 you'll fail against the 20s probably. I'm not sure what you're aiming at though. On the other hand, the regen is increased (while casting also? Dunno tbh) + mana cost have been reduced.



EDIT: Oh and why on earth would you roll dwarf? Draenei is by far the most overpowered ally race.
 
Me and my friend thought about it, and he's goin to roll a DPS, since I'm healer and tank..

And you sure shamans are better? Anyway, holy light costs like 29% of base mana I think, which is around 80... so that's 20~ mana, and when I have my ~600 mana it'll be 60 casts, + that I'll reg. I dno if 4 mp5 does a big difference... 9 with the enchant on bracers, but then I'd loose 160 hp, and when I rethought that aint much lol ;p

9 mp5 is ~2 mana per sec, which aint much at all with 560 mana.



And the race thingie, I didn't really pick a race, just clicked it to make a chardev, ofc I'm going Draenei :)

Okey;). Dude. 2mp5 is more with 500 mana than with 100 mana. But I think you can almost cap the regen with all mp5 enchants. With 2 or 1 enchant I did 140 casts a row with a shaman. Spamming myself, no pushbacks etc. With....500 mana, something like that, during 3.3 ofc, just tested on røsks shaman. That's like almost 4500 in heals without counting the crits. That's as much threat as 2250 dmg. Only limit here is the time and the dps of the mob you're facing. Btw, I thought you were on dunemaul?

And yeah I think you can get caped, I mean, 16 mp5 is quite much.



No I'm not at Dunemaul, always been thinking of making a twink and transfer there but things have gotten into my way :s

I do have a lvl 10 half twinked priest there though :) Might start a DK there since almost everything I do in wow is twink ;p except levelin my new paladin tho :) It's soon 76, and when it's 80 I'll start a DK and hardcore grind :D

Didn't really plan to fight lvl 30 elites, maybe in the future tho... :>



btw, would a druid glasscannon work? :eek:
 
Watching Black guys haste in that video made me think, a troll shaman with as much haste as possible then all SP enchants, during the count down of every duel just pop zerker and run around mashing LB since it's instant ( as healing wave was when black had popped it) and your good to go if your fighting another level 1 since your spells hit harder then melee and are ranged.
