Hello everyone, I'm new to TWINK INFO as a member, but I figured I'd start off my first post with a guide on what you need and want as a Warlock twink.
I'll start off by laying down a little bit of my background as a Warlock.
I started playing warlock as my very first character way back in 2004 and have been playing warlock on a top tier ( arena wise ) since s1-s8. I don't want to go into great detail as I always feel like I'm trying to make myself seems good, I'm not, good honestly, I'm just better then average and RNG seems to be on my side and I've been able to play with some great people that I synergize with.
So I'll be breaking this down into a few parts.
I. Why you should roll a Warlock.
It's simple, they are the true pit of evil, the call upon the powers of hell to burn enemies, the darkness to curse them, and the demons to torment them.
If this is not enough, it's clearly not the class for you, but I'll keep trying as maybe you'll see from this and then learn to harness the power of Hell Darkness and Demons.
Warlocks are one of the classes that have an insanely HIGH skill cap, much like mages, the difference from just a warlock and a good one, is insane.
Micro managing you're placement, pet placement, your CDs pet CDs, partners placement, partners CDs (granted not that needed but being able to understand your friends CDs to know when to call for them and not rely on them all the times is great ) enemy placement enemy CDs etc.
All this is a lot and most top player only have to deal with
Themselves, Partners, and Enemy ( + CDs ), yes throwing in a pet really does add a bit to the skill cap, you can't just let your pet run around with auto spell lock etc on or auto etc because well you're not going to have it when you need it to score a kill and knowing where your pet is so you know if you can even get the silence off in time because you're pet is on your target and the enemy healer is 30yards away.
Honestly when it comes down to mini-maxing it falls on the hands of a human (once they revert the EMFH nerf ) being able to rock double DPS trinkets and not having to use as much PvE main set gaining more resil via PvP items on the main slots is a better overall pick, although, it opens up the other option too, more PvE heavy = more SP/Haste/Crit which means faster and harder burst, overall human takes the cake.
Thats not to say that just because they are human they are instantly going to win, when it comes down to skill vs skill the player with better skill is going to win, hands down.
I've said this to anyone who has EVER, asked me what is the best, race to pick for X class, it comes down to what you enjoy playing, you want to know a big part of it?
If you're having fun, you'll enjoy yourself, if you're enjoying yourself you're going to play better, its just how it works out.
Depending on what you're playing and how you enjoy playing. I'll go over a few quick specs for each that I find to be the best over all.
*Hey you do know that you only have 2 slots per glyph at 70 right? Yes, and I wrote it like this because its down to play style, basically if you play with a Mage rogue or something that has CC that is broken via damage, you don't want dots running on both so no reason to waste a good glyph spot. who ever I do play with a paladin healer 24/7 so I run HoT and SL to peel better and to help him save as much mana as able.
Why this spec and glyphs?
This is a basic Affliction spec all talents for bumping damage, and I don't pick up Nightfall SB:SoC or Jinx as to get those you would lose out on other better +DMG talents.
If you need a filler from DOTS and DRAINLIFE cast Searing Pain.
As for glyphs, basic glyphs to get the most out of your spec, more damage via applying Haunt and longer Agony is more damage with out having to reapply. majors are addressed in "*" above. and these are sadly one of our best minor glyphs.
Whats good about Affliction: Affliction is good for more of a slower type of play style, DOT a target(s) up, and drain that health, I enjoy this play style for Arena more, it goes better with a healer as when ran with another DPS it tends to mess up CC ( although now they have glyphs for this )
IV. Whats the best gear for my Twink Warlock?
Well, let me say it like this there is no best, but there are "best" of a type, IE, best for most SP, most Resil/stam, most Haste, most crit etc.
I find for PvP and it has yet to fail me yet, going for (as a Warlock ) as much Resilience and Stam as I (you) can get until capped ( which they lifted the cap ).
*Now I'll post the high resil set up, with Chardev.org its an amazing site and if anyone is using the Wowhead profiler, I highly suggest you switch to this as the wowhead version still needs a lot of work. All Sets are going to use a Human, now if you are not a Human replace the Battlemaster with a faction Trinket Medallion of the :Horde: | :Alliance: *
HIGH RESIL | STAM
HIGH SP | HASTE
I feel that these are the two best gear set ups, one gives you great bursting capabilities, and the other gives you the ability to last longer via solo (BG Hero, duels 1vX ) or in group settings (BG Team Work, 2v2, 3v3, 5v5 etc ) There is other set up but I just personally feel these two give you the most of everything for which they are targeting.
V. Macros and Keybinds
Alright, this is a very very tricky subject to cover, not so much the macro part but Keybinds. Although it is wrote seconded I'll tackle it first.
These are MY KEYBINDS AND THEY WORK FOR ME, this is just to give you an overview of how many Keybinds you might need or if you need some ideas on better or even starting.
I have ALT mods in most of this keybinds ( via macros ) to use them on my focus, use as Focus Fear, Focus Death Coil, Focus Drain Life/Mana/Soul Focus Corruption, and I have pet macros with I use CTRL for.
MACROS:
Spam Press Shadowfury ( Able to press the button and the ring wont go away )
Fear | Focus Fear - Alt Modifier
Drain Life | Mana - Alt Mod
Use Health Stone + Battlemaster | Create Health Stone
Spam Press Rain of Fire
Mouse over Focus
I have more macros but I need to go in and out of my different cache files will be updated with more later on!
So for now this is all I have, if you have any Questions Comments, Problems or if you want to even add to this, post and I'll add it and state that you had me add it!
Thanks for reading this and I hope I've helped some people who have had questions about warlocks, as even though I tend to be a bit evil, I do enjoy helping people, even if it is not helping them meet the spirit healer.

Demonology:0/31/0
Glyphs-
Prime: Metamorphosis | Felguard
Major: Soul Link | Health Stone
Minor: Health Funnel |
Why this spec and glyphs?
Basically you gain the most +DMG from this set up, and as Demo you're not going to be summoning your pet much and when you do, (%OOA) 90% of the time its going to be instant because it died and you're demo so you get instant summon every two minutes and if the target is taking the time to kill the pet, they are going to be dead, and outside of the every 2 min instant summon you have Soul Burns for instant pets too.
Glyphs are bumping damage too, as it adds another +5% DMG onto your Felguard and Meta glyph is good as thats where you're really going to pump DMG out, the longer you're in there the better. Minor glyphs are simple, Soul Link, to stay alive longer, and HS since you're going to be using Hellfire a bit you'll want that extra heal.

Destruction: 0/0/31
Glyphs-
Prime: Immolate | Conflagrate
Major: Howl of Terror | Soul Link | Health Stone
Minor: Health Funnel |
Why this spec and glyphs?
Most people play destro because well its destructive, and they watched a DD_ movie or something on WCM and want to feel the fire. Destro is a fun spec and had one of the best warlock movies ever in it, (my opinion but a lot of people agree ) SHADOW FURY! basically everything you get ups your damage, no reason to snag up Improved Soul Fire as once past the 80% mark its wasted points its only good for PvE to up your DPS. Empowered Imp forces you to either have imp out 100% of the time or your wasting those points, Bane of havoc needs an insane buff before its even worth looking at, and Improved Searing Pain is good but you still get better DMG out of your normal rotation. ( Soul leech is basically what you take to fill the gap to get over to CB and its at fully geared about a 600+ Heal every time you CB, which is not much but better then the others and the replenishment helps a lot in helping you tap less.
