level 20 pvp

i spent a week or so getting pretty much all the bis gear i could get and queued for a bg thinking i should be good enough. after a couple of hours in queue, bg popped and holy smoke what a ludicrous massacre. what is going on in this bracket? im currently xp off with an active subscription.

Well two things :

I assume you are playing a 20 but to be fair the things I'll say also apply to some degree to 29's. The stat difference between 20's and 29's is a big factor by itself but the extra talents are what makes the gap so big.

Secondly the stats/damage output is kinda broken right now. We do not have that much health and since the past 2 expansions buffed the base power of our abilities to insane degrees our still high amounts of primary stat make said spells feel like you got hit by the goddamned Concorde.
I'm sure you noticed your health melted in basically 1-2 hits be they from hunters, warlocks or shamans. Well I'm sure even 29's don't enjoy taking those so as a 20 you more or less cooked.

Healing is a mess since we get melted so quickly anyways and as long as they don't fix the scaling (which I strongly doubt is on their mind right now) we will have a pretty miserable PvP experience (or everyone could stack stamina and as little primary as possible but that's not happening haha).
 
yes. level 20. i understand everything you are saying. it was just that i was a little shocked as to how miserable it was. i would say that it was probably the worst i've seen it scaled second only to maybe once when i party synced as a high level into a low level bg. so...any suggestions on what bracket would be best for xpoff pvp twinking? since obviously its not level 20 lol? but then again 20 is the only f2p option i guess....

To be fair as of the current situation the best solution would porlly be wargames as it is a much more controlled content although a little tougher to setup and maintain over time. That said this solves by no means the mess that is the scaling and for that we have no realistic solution.

EU or NA?
 
Its to bad that EU and NA account are not synced. So I am stick to EU, do you guys know if there are any EU 20 pvp action groups/guilds?

I don’t but, I actually have several eu people and aus people in our guild! I’m sorry about the ping but you can always hangout!

Ping should be not to bad, the bigger problem is that you dont have any progress on NA account, no mounts, pets, achievments etc. You have to start from the scratch. Thank you for the invite, but I have to pass. If there is any EU group, please let me know! Thanks.
