So yeah, if anyone feels like it, just post for a class and I'll add it to the original post. For anyone wondering, I'm thinking about putting together a little Level One Server for practice and for fun, and I'm deciding on what gear each class should start out with.



@ boglund, ego, other 1 twinks, maybe you could use this finished post as an article for the level one twinking site you're planning.
 
tux pants for legs on any class I think, cloth with 38 armor, furbolg pouch best in off hand for every class too.

Chest - Haliscan Jacket (iLvl of 36, enchantable with 150 hp / 6 stats etc)



Wrists - Starter Vendor for all armor types



Cloth Gloves - Battle Worn Handguards (non-BOP quest reward in Azuremyst Isle)

Leather Gloves - Worn Leather Gloves (world drop)

Mail Gloves - Starter Vendor



Cloth / Mail Belt - Starter Vendor

Leather Belt - Squealer's belt (from "Squealer" Thornmantle, a rare mob in Mulgore)

Just a snippet of info



All leather wearers should get [ITEM]Squealer's Belt[/ITEM]



The best leather wrists atm are the starting vendor ones.



The best leather gloves atm are [ITEM]Worn Leather Gloves[/ITEM]



The best boots/shoes for any classes would be there best armor class

(Mages - Cloth) (Paladins - Mail) (Rogues - Leather) and so fourth.
 
Cause its fun to try to take down lvl 10s and such on a lvl 1. and it gives people with the ocd something to work on since i cant get into bgs anymore =(
 
Well you have to divide this into which jobs you want to serve; tank, dps and healer.



None vendor items which are the best in slot to know.

Squealer's Belt - As ego said

Worn Leather Gloves - as ego said

Battle Worn Handguards

Cracked Buckler

Cadet's Bow

Formal Dangui



A dps would get 5 hit over almost any stat.

A healer would get int over SP and mp5 over int.

A rogue tank would get agi over stam (in my opinion)

A healing tank would get int over stam and mp5 over int.



Too much work atm for me to write all this shit in every class section.
 
Don't forget about BoA's. Excluding chests, BoA items are ALWAYS better, as they provide stat bonues where the other BiS stuff listed doesn't. It is common knowledge that the only items with ilvl's high enough to get BC enchants are the chest's mentioned in other posts.



For Chest, it depends, since you will definately get higher armour (and therefore higher damage reduction) with BoA, and some nifty stat bonuses, but you can only enchant it with 100 hp or 3 stats. Formal Dangui and Haliscan Jacket have higher ilvl, so you can put 6 stats or 150 hp, but you dont have the damage reduction. Figure out which one works better for you.



Ancient Bone Bow > Cadet's bow, since 1 resil is better than +5 dmg, and the dps on the BoA is higher anyways. Unless you can put a scope on the BoA Bow, in which case the BoA bow is still better.



Whats better, the +1 hit BoA trinkets or the Agm's?
 
personally i would say AGM>1 hit hit can be acquired in many other ways gimping your hp by 120 would be too risky in my eyes
 
k thanks. On that note, has anyone noticed a decrease in 19's trying to get the agm's? cuz getting agm's on a lvl 1 is going to suck the big one.

Well, a few things are wrong about this.



1) The Haliscan Jacket has 45 armor, and I believe the BoA mail chest has 65 or somewhere around there. 20 is not that much of a difference, and when it comes down to rogues, I think the armor is almost equivalent. On the bright side though, I think the mail chest has 1 str 1 sta and 1 crit, but I could be wrong, and I probably am on that.



2) Scopes no longer work for level 1 twinks. Ever since the 19s putting the 80 scopes on bows, they put a level req on the usage of the scope, we have to be level 5+ to get the bonus from the scope. Also, when it comes to bows damage wise



Ancient Bone Bow > Sunstrider Bow > Cadet's Bow



3) Dual AGMs is much better. That adds 24 stamina to our health pool (240 hp) AND a Bubble that basically a divine shield for a level 1.



On a side note, dual AGMs are also better, because you can drop the furbolg pouch to get an offhand weapon once 3.3 comes out. I will probably be rocking [ITEM]Battleworn Thrash Blade[/ITEM] with lifestealing and [ITEM]Sunstrider Axe[/ITEM] with Unholy.

It depends on the server. I have obtained around 5-6 AGMs off my server, some taking as little as 3-4 days to get the 12 mini trinkets. Although, I have heard the horrors of high pop servers where there are about 30 people there :(.
 
You can put a lvl 5 scope on a lvl 1 item, as putting the scope on doesnt make it soulbound, and you can therefore have a lvl 5 toon do it for your level 1.



edit: i misstyped - you can put the scope on the cadet's bow, but im as of yet uncertain whether you can put it on the ancient bone bow, but as someone ( i think boglund) mentioned above, Bone Bow>Sunstrider>Cadet.



As for the chest, i mentioned above that it depends. You always get more armour from the BoA, as well as stat bonuses, but you get a worse enchant. Depends on what you find you need. And the amount of damage reduction is big, something like 30% so far on my hunter, with only 2 BoA items, and the rest are the white vendor/AH items. With more BoA, im sure the damage reduction will be higher.



Likely the haliscan jacket or formal dangui will be better, since you can get the +6 stats, which is better than chest bonus w/ +3 stats, as that would be +3 to all stats, with +1 agi +1 stam and +1 int with +3 ap. 6 > 3 or 4. Lol, simple math is tough for me. heh.

you can put any scope on a ranged BoA, but you wont get the bonus at level 1 because your personal level is too low. Also, your best chant for a BoA chest is +4 stats, not +3.
 
I could have sworn that the scope was usable by a level 1, but in order to by applied it had to be done a level 5. Is this wrong then?



And where would one find 4 stats to chest? or even 6 stats? the formulas i mean.
 
the scope used to be usable, not anymore.



as for the formulas, i dont know where to find them off the top of my head, i just pop on wowhead and look up that stuff. i buy mine from chanters.

Pretty sure +4 Stats to chest is a random world drop, not sure and cba to check WH.



And they used to be, but then people found a glitch where 19s and lower could attach the level 80 scope to their bows, so blizzard had to fix it, and they did so by creating level reqs on scope use. Sucks for the level 1s :( -- Even thought with the 80 scope would shoot our crit all the way up and every range shot would hit 60+ ^_^
 
lawl i wish i cudda seen a lvl 1 with the 80 scope. Ok so no scope. Damn you level 5 twinks!



and 4 stats requires a level 35 or higher ilvl, so for BoA you have to get 3 stats, and for Haliscan you can get 6 stats, skipping the 4 altogether.



I just checked wowhead's enchant list and saw that, as i was looking for possible +hit enchants, and for that, i only found the +5 to boots.



Also, i have snagged 3 AGM mini's so far, so im well on my way to getting my first AGM.
