24 arena wargames, step up to the plate!
No more hiding behind people in WSG and AB, put your neck on the line!
Also, for those who were in the last thread here is my grand response to all those who posted, please take a read!
Everyone can get exploits making them fair
Everyone can get Apex shards, therefore making them fair
Everyone can play the OP classes of the current patch, which is fair and balanced towards those who
play underpowered classes
Just because there is an ability to obtain/use them doesn't mean they should be used. I'm about
competative games based entirely on usaage of abilities given to a class, not about how much
time/gold/money people wish to spend to obtain competition inpeeding advantages.
Maybe our definitions of "crutching" differ but I guess i'll explain it:
Usage of an item that - without its' use - would otherwise cause a loss or death
That seems really odd to me considering I was the (if not only during the first half of Cata[besides
Camo ofc]) advicate of playing a Frost Mage and dispised playing Arcane as it was trivial and boring
(although sometimes I was asked to play it). Onto the next point about how I only play classes that are
OP - I'm almost certain I was one of the only consistant Boomkins (and one of three ferals) during mid
to late Cata, Just beacuse I play druid now has no indication as to what kind of class I play, if
anything I try to play the lesser specs as they are more satisfying.
Aquiring the potions isn't the issuue, its the game changing competitive impeeding nature of a few of
these consumables.
Again, just because we have access doesn't make it right to use them.
I like to be able to play without crutching on items to make up for my shortcomings.
It's not laziness, its because it is a crutch and the advantage does not swing both ways. Warsong is
not linear - it is quite dynamic and because the item does not give the same benifits for both
potential users it interferes with competition.
Care to explain what about this is RNG (Random Number Generator[aka Random])
and it really is a problem.
I had a well thought out post written here but as i went to reply again it deleted it so I'll sum up
what I said:
During Wrath I only had a Priest and a Hunter (Priest I had around 9k hks and hunter gained about 4k)
During early Cata I was one of the biggest advocates of Frost (besides Camo ofc), you can ask almost
anyone - I hated playing arcane, it was trivial and boring (I would play it rarely if it made sense
with group makeup [the split if anyone is interested was around 90% Frost and the rest arcane]) I
wracked up close to 30k Hks as while being frost primarily playing as CC on D or FCing when needed
(just to give you an insight into how much I played Frost) During the start of Cata was when I played
priest which I mingled with on ocation throughout early to mid Cata. Later in Cata I started to mess
around with other classes (Ele Sham, Warlock, and developed the Warrior FC [Reflexes and I started the
theorycrafting and I finished it and brought it into fruition]) when I struck Boomkin and Feral. I was
one of the most active Boomkins in the bracket in mid to late Cata. I hit just over 13k HKs before MoP
prepatch hit.
The current state of Boomkins is a bit over the top but is in no way the reason as to why I play the
class. Even if they were nerfed to where they need to be to stay balanced with other classes, I would still play it due to the mechanics Druids have. It's just a fun class in general to play.
Coming from the guy who played Paladin and Hunter, this doesn't hold much merit... sorry

A good tip for the two posts above
: )
Maybe because that was an old 19 (had a shadowfang if I remember correct...)
And i have no idea why the whole post looks double spaced rofl
Enjoy!@

You completely missed the mark on this one... Any trial can get speedpots.
Using a speedpot isn't crutching and I rarely keep my supply up because I use them frequently.
So many things you could have mentioned about 24s crutching on but you choose something even trials can
do :/
Maybe our definitions of "crutching" differ but I guess i'll explain it:

its also pretty annoying when people like you only queue 19s when your current
class is OP, take druid for example you made your 19 druid back in mid wrath, got like 1-2k hks on it,
prepatch hit 3 months ago now has what like 18k?

24s can get it easier via AH.

Nice QQ thread.
I believe you have access to said potions as well, you not using them is a reflection of your loss of
dedication and seriousness of twinking compared to those who use speed pots.
You being lazy is not an excuse why no one else should use them and beat you with them.
Again, just because we have access doesn't make it right to use them.

Its not a "loss of dedication", its rng. This is a really stupid thing to complain
about though.

ive known derv for maybe 2 1/2 years, during wrath he played a hunter, during
cata he played an arcane mage, and now in mop he plays a boomkin, see any resemblance?

doesnt surprise me, derv was always a terrible fotm crutcher

Don't comment on people crutching or FotMing when you seem to have no problem doing it yourself.

Also, if you look at the 24 warrior, it has more hks than my 24 rogue, druid and pally combined
