Legion Remix Overview (Level 20)

As people said, skip 3rd and 4th follower recruit
Thanks for the response. I've looked all over and can't find that discussion. I had tried not doing any recruiting untill I had no other options/quests available. Took all other campaign quests untill the recruiting was all I had available --even did the 2nd and 3rd artifact quests. Maybe I screwed up and did recruiting in the wrong order? According to what I can find the 3rd and 4th recruitments would be Champion: Svergan Stormcloak and Champion: Thorim or Champion: Dvalen Ironrune. I'm not sure which would be the correct ones to skip...

Paladin Holy one can drop from demons in Azsuna or Argus etc. Protection and Retribution require higher level content not included with Lemix. Retribution requires Blackwing raid. Protection need >= 20 for the Withering Army being unlocked.

You can get the Paladin Retribution Artifact Weapon skin by buying a Questitem with Bronze from the Vendor that sells Toys and Mini-pets. It starts a very short Questline which will give you the Skins.

Re: I Attack the Darkness achievement.

I teamed up with another person yesterday. She tanked the boss while I looked for the 3 invisible creatures.

Warlock sounded the best for grabbing the creatures, so that's what I used initially, but for some reason the Eye of Kilrogg is bugged more often than not. After casting, the eye just refused to move more than a yard, it always teleports back to zero position. My friend's warlock's Eye also behaved the same, and what's weird is that it only behaves like this in raid (tested in Cenarius' island, and Xavius's fight area) but outside the raid it behaves normally.

Ultimately I switched to DH, and it took quite a few tries to get the achievement since DH's Spectral Sight has a 30 sec CD and much shorter uptime. Here's some tips:

1. After spawning, the creatures will run around the perimeter of the entire area. Getting quick tags on them once spotted is crucial, given the short uptime on Spectral Sight plus there's some RNG involved for the risk of it getting cancelled on taking damage when the boss occasionally targets you. So use a target macro bound with Torment for instant tag.

2. The creatures seem to have fixed spawn locations, so positioning yourself there at exactly the right time will greatly increase the chance of spotting them in that short Sight window. Otherwise, the creatures would have run off somewhere and you'll spend many unsuccessful attempts randomly guessing where they ran off to (easier to just die & reset the encounter). I found success with this diagram as to the location of the spawn locations. 1st creature at start of pull, 2nd creature at boss 60% hp, and final creature at 30%.

3. At level 20, the creatures have 120k hp. My tanking partner is an 80 toon, so she made quick work of the creatures once I pulled them into the light, but I suppose 2 level 20s can kill them without taking too much time, but definitely one has to be a Monk to quickly dispose the boss at the end once all 3 creatures are down.

The Guardian one is obtainable without help to summon <= level 20 to the Emerald Nightmare on remix but not on retail, unless Blizzard lets The Emerald Nightmare raid be doable <= level 20 post Lemix. This was locked out for Retail <= 20 prior to Lemix.
Is that a guarenteed Drop or is there just a Chance? Because I tried it multiple times in different Specs and didnt get it.

any last minute cool things to make sure to accomplish (even for non-f2p) that anyone has realized they can knock out in this final week? I think I've basically done everything except the raid meta

If you are subbed, you can go for the Legion class mount (not the remix fel recolor). Which are two quick quest chains for each class. Those require scouting map missions which Remix skips.
  1. Start Legionfall campaign zone (finish intro mission)
  2. Accept Champions of Legionfall
  3. Go back to your class hall and complete your bonus champion quest chain
  4. Finish Legionfall campaign zone
  5. You will get a breadcrumb mission to go back to your class hall for your class mount quest chain
Afterwards for all other toons on your account:
  1. You can skip the Legionfall intro
  2. No longer need to finish Legionfall campaign. Class mount breadcrumb will appear as soon as your bonus champion is recruited
Other stuff for more weapon recolors (listed in Remix Artifact Tracker addon):
  1. Recolors for main weapon
    1. Recover one of the Pillars of Creation (Suramar requires finishing Nighthold. Val'sharah doesn't require running dungeons)
    2. Bring Light's Heart back to your class hall
  2. Finish Balance of Power quest chain Improving on History (this is warband wide unlock)
    1. +1 color from this Unleashed Monstrosities (this is warband wide unlock)
    2. +1 color from this Glory of the Legion Hero (this is warband wide unlock)
  3. Collect Hidden Weapon appearance
    1. +1 color from 30 legion dungeons (after character unlocks its first Hidden weapon appearance)
    2. +1 color from 200 world quests (after character unlocks its first Hidden weapon appearance)
Most listed above can be done in retail at your own pace. I would recommend doing "Balance of Power" and its associated achievements in Remix where it's easier to do.

I think I've basically done everything except the raid meta
Btw raiding in Remix is a laugh. People form pick-up groups and faceroll Mythic raids in minutes because Limits Unbound is OP. Highly recommend to boost your main with a full set of normal, heroic, mythic raids to collect Infinite power before taking on more tasks.

It's bad enough I decided to solo the raids myself just to experience the lore/storyline. (Because PUGs just skip everything)
