Legion pvp template gear and bracket changes affects all current brackets

A 10-45 bracket with no gear or enchant advantage is better than 20-29 with OP enchants (elemental force / crusader are just insane for example).

This merging of brackets makes a lot of sense. If you look at the legion abilities, all the important skills are learnt very early on. Most specs get everything by lvl 78. It's been condensed. If you were to create 3 or 4 pvp brackets you would condense all the abilities to create a fairer environment for all. Since subs keep declining, a merger would also shorten queue times.

Lmfao I'd rather play a f2p ele vs a team full of 29 bm monks with enchants than someone with 35 more levels of abilities

Well you'll have to play a private server or quit then I guess.


Looking at those items again, it seems it's broken into 8? levelling brackets. The first 2 brackets are;

Classic lvl 1-45. ilvl 45 (75 pvp). Presumably the BG bracket would be 10-45.

Classic lvl 46-60. ilvl 62 (92 pvp).

Worst news for CN twinks....

Please not ask too much about twink, BLZ's notice is always bad.

Perhaps template is not true template, when you join bg you will have a set of high item-level gear as bis in level 110, but in low level bg, 30 item-level are nothing compared with gems.

They seem to have changed the items. Basing assumptions off of some random ass items is kinda silly :)
 
i have seen players asking if xp-on and off BGs can or will be combined in some threads on WOW. if these changes go thru there is no point in having the two separate PVP systems.

if they are not being combined, maybe players could convince blizzard to leave XP-off as it is now and untouched for legion?
 
Need I remind you all we are still nearly a year out from 7.0. And close to 6 months from the PTR.

Speculation is fun though.

I foresee many people keeping "trophy toons". Some will be harkening for the "good old days" of yore in the future. kek....
In two years some people will be saying how "great" we had it in WoD. And how they "wish Legion was more like WoD". And moaning, "I miss WoD". And that "This xpac sucks!" "This is the worse xpac eva!" Legion is the reason Blizzard is bleeding subs!" ... SSDD

We have a long long wait ahead of us. Enjoy WoD while you can!!!

The new items are likely just the strongbox rewards they were planning on adding in WoD but couldn't/didn't develop in time.
