What is the purpose for going out to get these again? I've looted two boxes and began questioning as to why I even went after this. Is it for swag status in terms of transmog, or? Cause the BG rewards are not only higher iLvL but also granted with better stats. Leaving them best for Wpvp as well.

What's the fuss with the iLvL 90 goggles? Keep hearing, "They don't work anymore" What about them doesn't work?

It will become GF'd so I guess people think that of all the countless hours they spend sitting around Org/SW they might aswell go out and do the events.

And Mist-Piercing goggles has lost some of it's value since it seems the stat template system now rates armor type higher than ilvl. So you'd be better of with a head piece of your respective primary armor type

As a monk the invasion gear gloves was a big upgrade for me from bristlebark, the gear will also become GFd at one point and it'll just be cool to have in the future.

As for the goggles;

The repair costs is also fucked up for invasion gear.

Not true, for Alliance the http://www.wowhead.com/item=11229 (Brightplate Girdle) is BiS for plate wearers at ilvl 32 and 6 Strength / 6 Stamina.

Engineering belt was bis at beginning of prepatch and the mantle was bis and i chose the brightplate over the mantle in mop and got sad at the beginning of prepatch, but now its all turned around and brightplate is bis, thx for letting me know im pretty happy :^)

It's pretty annoying how Blizzard hadn't noticed a lack of Plate armor options in the early levels yet they went and added another mail variant shoulder to the Swords Deck (DMF shoulders) and a craft-able mail set to Leatherworking...
