No.

Tabards/ Shirts do not count toward average item level. Also Highest item level weapons may not be neccesarily BIS for most melee classes. As weapon speed/ weapon damage do still have an effect on abilities and damage overall.

Well thanks otherwise for this btw :] i hadn't thought of consumables, kind of slipped my mind, but the max ilvl as we see it atm, is 52.5 from all that gear and a leather+ wearing caster... if you wanted to know

Sharpening stones 100% work

And sharp stones. Just 2 days ago. And it didnt change my intellect/damage

The dungeon reward gloves are GFd for hunters, warrs and paladins until blizzard changes the drops inside.
Hunters cant loot the leather gloves nor the mail gloves, same goes for warriors and paladins who cant loot the mail ones.
Still obtainable for cloth users

Think this is a temporary thing tho but you never know with blizzard. Either way the non GFd gloves are ilvl 34 green gloves that you can just pick straight up from ah,

Damage stat went up with this on my rogue but Saber Slash damage went down in turn.

I believe at 33 or 34 ilvl you pretty much hit max, then after that every ilvl is a .1% gain in stats or something

im still two items away from full bis ilvl gear(non GF items) for holy and ret. ( trinkets ) but from what im getting atm is small. at work atm ill give you more info tonight full stats and stuff.
