leg armors, librams, naxx, what's next?

as you see on the front page, tbc leg armor is now a level 60 level req, and librams are lvl 50 to use. Naxx has also been nerfed, and all they have to do to completely ruin twinking is put level req's on enchants considering these changes do indeed go live. What are your guys' opinions on all this? Its pretty overwhelming to me

I'm trying not to freak out too hard yet. I remember running around on my untwinked druid way back when WSG first came out and it was a hell of a lot of fun, but that was at higher levels.



I'm a bit nervous because as I've stated previously, I mostly play casters and it seems to me that they will be struggling a lot more (at least in 10-19 where I play).



Of course, it may be the incentive I need to head into higher brackets.



Either way, I'll still be doing low level pvp even if twinking as we know it ends. I enjoy it too much and find 80 stuff too boring. >_<
 
Seriously, though. I think as long as they don't touch the enchants now we'll be fine.
 
honestly i see the leg armors as acceptable, but i can live without them. as far as naxx chants go, not very many people have them. the thought of lvl requirements on enchants is horrifying, because days of libram farming may not be worth it if everything goes south.



edit: libram farming only for my 59 twink that i dont even play. friggin DKs

lemme know if you do, i might join you. love the website, still stay active on it, WoW may suck later on tho. i cant wait till the private server opens.
 
I wouldn't hit the panic button just yet Unstablle. Like i've said earlier, don't believe anything until its in the patch notes.

hehe I'm not in panic mode yet buddy, ATM I'm more in a worried/pissed off mode. Sucks after years of awesome twinking they're coming to this. Blizz says its to attract more people since noobs are gimpes in the lower brackets. Isn't 12 million or so people paying $15 a month along with transfers, the game itself, etc. enough?
 
Blizz is a big business, and thats all they care about. You'd think that the twink market, which is likely a quarter to a fifth of their player base, would be enough to persuade them.



I'm prepared to boycott, lobby, and even quit WoW if they destroy twinking, but the question is, are you?

New post in my server section regarding this issue. This truly is a shock for me. Check my topic there for my thoughts on this absurd change.



Hopefully this doesn't go live, but since I can not post on the WoW forums I suggest someone create a petition on the official forums. Please speak up, maybe they will listen.

I really don't see them as removing librams and leg enchants.. let's just all hope that they are just going to throw us some big April Fools trick.
 
remember when they made us think the new alliance race was going to be WISPS? and they could permanently die as well...lol
