assy has more inital damage than sub but if your target doesn't die from the first mutis your envenom probably won't land the kill.
Sub has 30% more agil, and negates a lot of armor upon attacks after 1st ambush. Combat has 40% more AP, and both ambushes would hit other nearby targets. Assassination would better benefit from a near free ambush via SF, followed by some mutilates, or a 50% stronger ambush, and then a mutilate.
Assassination shouldn't use subterfuge.
Assas should use shadow focus but that doesnt mean Subter is bad. Especially on a 24.

I am usually in the top 6, even when just defending a node in AB. think the lowest I have been for a scoreboard is like 11 at the start but always finish in the top 8 at least with very little effort quite boring really."

I couldn't even believe what I was reading. Besides the fact that you shouldn't even be p2p JUST for twinking at Lvl24. Just scratching the surface of that whole argument, it's basically, Class imbalance, Scaling for every bracket for fairness, 5.4 Enchants, Potions and all the extra buffs, Ease of use (AH, Mailbox, More than 10g). That could easily go on even farther.
