Don't hate i'm not a pro but it was fun and i will make more but first i need to torrent Photoshop :D

If you got some tips for me i wold love them

P.s. Also i was wondering how awesome and others got a perfect cutout of the character?

P.s.s. I didn't know how to make a pet on WMV so i put in a dog from photoshop lol

Cool, I like it. Try not to leave such a blank background next time though.

Ohmagawd that sux0rz yo!

Nah, just yankin' yer chain. It's pretty good. Creative and such. :D

As Cheruhbim said- A background would definitely make it more epicsauce.

As for 'perfect' cutouts, it's jkind of hard with WoW's sprites. As you can see, it looks a little pixelated as a straight cut out.

However with photoshop (and some other image programs) there are a variety of tricks to make the edges seem smoother.

First way would be to put a glow around the character. Kind of nifty, but it doesn't always suit every image.

Another way is to have an 'active' background, something that will make the eyes focusa less on the character itself and somewhat make the edges less noticeable.

The best ways are to blur/smooth the edges. Photoshop (the program) has a tool that allows you to blur whatever you drag the pointer over. So you can effectively blur the outside edges to blend seemlessly into the image.

There are other techniques as well, but it could take ages to explain them all. Experimentation, all ya need. :D
