Should have given a game time and stuck with it.
Unfortunately, the Twink Cup is tarnished for a second year in a row.
My suggestion would be to hold the actual final on a separate day. Have the teams assemble 30 min beforehand. And start the game on time. Full team or not. Period. No excuses. It is not the "Twink Cup" management's fault that a team did not make it. It is the team's fault they did not make the designated time. As time goes on the rules need to be less dynamic and more absolute. More black and white and less grey.
If you bend for people, they will keep bending you just to see how far they can go. And that is exactly what happened. The rules got "bent" once and it just snowballed out of control from there. If a committee was to weigh in on these happenstances there would be no singular person to be at fault for the decision. That is why over four months ago I suggested that a committee be formed.
