I've now joined the ranks of BoA farming 80s in NF

...so yeah; I finally got my fresh DK (Blaque) on Deathwing to 80, and I'm looking to farm the crap out of instances to get BoAs for:



*Moonblayde (see sig below) Crappy-geared Nelf rogue

*A new Hunter; currently level 25

*A healadin (or protadin; we'll see), level 20 atm

*and a lock I've been toying with, level 10 atm.



I need advice on how to gear and spec to get into groups and farm. I hear there's a severe tank shortage, which make me want to spec Frost, but Blood has been very good to me soloing dailies (even the +3 group ones)/



Question 1: Should I drop the gold to dual spec (in order to still do fast dailies while effectively tank in instances)?



Question 2: Which instances should I farming (best badge output for time and effort spent, etc)? I gather I'd need the cloth BoA shoulders for the lock, the mail caster shoulders for the healadin, the gun for the hunter, and the shoulders/chest for the rogue.



Question 3: (and this is kinda a longshot): Should I simply wait for 3.3 to see if the BoAs will end up being cross-realm, cross faction? As you can see from the signatures below, I've amassed a decent collection of BoAs (Sunblayde actually has both shoulders) when my kid farmed on his account. and I transferred BoA mules to my account. I'm not too inclined to transfer all those toons over, just yet.



Any assistance would be great.



ALSO: if someone could post this on the NF forums, I'd be much appreciative. I got permabanned on both accounts. yay.
 
If you really plan on doing nothing but farming heroics I suppose you could get by without dual spec, but sometimes believe it or not (almost never) there's already a tank and your group needs a dps. Also you might want to do Wingergrasp for shards and it's handy to have something you can PvP well with.



I personally go with the 5 badge dungeons. Getting a group is the hard part and unless they're up for chain heroics you want to get maximum bang for your time spent finding that group. Gundrak is my personal favorite, DTK, Nexus are probably top 3 easiest 5 badge dungeons. For quickies go with VH, AN and ToC (you'll want to gear a up for a while before doing ToC) all 3 badge dungeons and easy to get a group for.



Waiting for 3.3 not a bad idea, can't say badge farming is very enjoyable. I watch TV while I do it but I'm also a hunter lol. Maybe just do it a bit to gear up and grab a couple BoA's you might not have on any other servers.
 
Do the AT dailies inbetween instances. Once you earn the Crusader title, you can buy heirlooms for those seals you earn doing it.
 
Yeah just make sure you know what it takes to get Crusader. Exalted with all 5 home cities... no thnx. Even taking nothing but writs it's like 2 months of doing dailies everyday.
 
As a tank dk you dont really need dual specs. You should go blood for tanking, which can double as a decent enough dps spec. You shouldnt really have a problem killing things.





fastest way to get badges is through OS10/25 pugs and daily heroics. if you get the satchel from OS youll have 9 badges from 1 run (plus better gear than heroics). you can trade emblems of triumph for emblems of conquest at the goblin bank in dal sewers



fastest way to get stone keeper shards is through wg dailies > normal toc5 or heroic farming with essence of WG





whether you save your badges depends on if you want to twink right this second. 3.3 is probably 2-3 months away still
