I have a lot of experience being the best player in every twink bracket I have ever participated in and I can tell you it's not easy for one reason; You become enemy number one to the opposite faction, and even your own!
It's easy to understand why the opposite faction would want to shut you down before anyone else, to increase their chances of winning by taking out the biggest threats on the opposite team first.
But why in the world would your own team reject you and want to see you do poorly and ignore you when the next best of list thread comes around? Because when you are consistently embarrassingly better than everyone else on your team you take away the illusion of the 19 bracket as a whole being the best place to test your strength in capture the flag style competition.
When an actual world class player enters the 19 gulch scene they are rejected because they are a threat to the typical 19 players false sense of superiority placed there by the community and not by actual statistics.
