It's Not BIS Anymore?

I have never been a person that found rogues appealing either in PVE or PVP but if memory serves me right a lot of rogues before cataclysm use to have Assassins blade and Shadowfang..Why is Shadowfang 2x BIS why isn't Assassins blade BIS any more..



P.S sorry if this post does not make sense and sorry if my grammar ain't the best!

I see what you mean there but wouldn't assassins blade be good for ambush if my memory serves me right reading on wowhead! and wouldn't backstab be good to?

They nerfed assassin's blade and some other weapons such as cruel barb by lowering the weapon to required level 16, and therefor also had to nerf the stats/weapon dps.

I would always hold on to an AB if you have one as it may get buffed in the future (but don`t hold your breath).

2X shadowfang is BIS due to the autoattack generated after the initial ambush.

Yea the Assasin's blade got nerfed down to one of the weakest daggers available. At the moment Rogues can do more damage with the honor obtained dagger (scouts blade or sentenel's blade depending on faction)
