Items to get while alliance for battle enhance?

The same person that keeps asking " are you mad" must be angry about about something. Either that or needs to fulfill some empty niche in their life.

Back on topic...
Probably not worth it just for bracers any more. I would wait and see if the new ring is going to be any good if you are set in changing that toon over.

Item scaling is there to make lower level/lesser geared toons more viable. It isn't the BiS option except in very narrow circumstances, such as belts for agi users. There isn't a good belt available from level 29 dungeons, so the level 19 satchel belt of the Bandit is the de facto BiS because there isn't anything else with secondary stats.

Item scaling makes room for items that are completely useless outside of PvP, to become extremely viable inside PvP. For instance goblin bracers; 3 agi outside, 10 agi inside.

PvP belt > bandit belt, common knowledge
 
Actually, item scaling was created for endgame. We just reap the benefits.

Did I miss miss what battle enhance meant?

Are not all enchance shamans post 6.0 "battle prepped"? Many moons have passed since we have had tankable shaman.

Is the level 20 weapon quest faction specific? It has been quite some time since I have done a faction change. Certainly not since scaling. And I do not really bother too much with transmogriforcation. If you choose the faction change you may have wished you had done it.

I know people like to ask about what gear to get on forums, and there's usually enough well meaning others to oblige BUT... It definitely doesn't hurt to learn how to search for gear on WoWHead, where you can set filters to specifically what stats you want on what type of item for each slot and armor type and it will tell you every possibility in that range... Wouldn't hurt to learn and I'm sure most people here use it to find gear, it's also fairly easy to use so it wouldn't hurt to give it a try.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him to fish and he will eat for a lifetime.
No one here wants to learn. They just like to plauguarize others gear sets. ie: take the easy way out.

As the poster stated above mine there is a very nice filtered setting for "alliance" in wowhead.

There have indeed been an increase lately in threads asking what is BiS. But I think it is because of the new scaling system. It is so hard to know which items scale well, and really there are 100's of items that potentially could scale. For instance Apprentice Robe, I would never have guessed that it scaled so well. So better share your experience regarding item scaling with the rest of the community, and then when you are in doubt yourself; ask.

In this, you have a very valid point. However, we do have a scaling index that the OP can refer to and in this specific instance he/she was wanting Alliance only items. They also mentioned transmogriforcation, of which scaling has no bearing. If the OP wants to get a better idea of what is "out there" available for them they probably should do a search for themselves rather than just ask. That is if they really truly want to know and be a completionist.
