Items to get before faction changing?

I've got an old 19 orc rogue that I plan on updating and switching factions to alliance. Just want make sure I get all the items that are horde only that I might want before I swap.



All I can think of so far is the Argas ring and the Sludge-Caked Throwing Knives. Anything else? Even if it's not BiS, I'd still like to get any items worth getting before I swap.

Faded Wizard Hat disappers when faction changed.

Also you might want to check out the transmogrification threads. Folly's Edge - Item - World of Warcraft is an example of an item you'd want to get from horde side for transmogrification purposes, as it is very close to the orginal SF graphic. http://www.wowhead.com/item=65667 another good one.

The above poster is correct, faded wizard hat disappears on faction change and you'd have to get a GM to restore it if you come back horde. Might as well not do that quest until if/when you come back horde.

Gloves of badassery disappears also when u faction change, but theres a slightly small chance that u can get them back.

This is not true. You keep the gloves as well as any other horde armor quest reward items with the exception of Faded Wizard Hat.



If, Brosmash, you factioned and lost your gloves, I highly recommend you petition a GM as there are PLENTY of alliance twinks with those gloves, as are there plenty of horde twinks with alliance quest gear. If you already made a petition and a GM shot you down, keep petitioning.
