Zen Alchemist Stone (requires alchemy, it is being upgraded to ilvel 458 in 5.1)

all of these items meet the new item upgrade requirement.

The latest PTR build added a new Ethereal NPC next to the Reforging and Void Storage NPCs that will allow you to upgrade your gear. The minimum item level required is now 458.

I can confirm that upgrading these items and mailing them DOES not remove the upgrade.

When upgraded are they still level 85 requirement? Or does the requirement change to equip? I'm assuming they stay level 85 req but just want to make sure.

Yes they stay at a level 85 requirement. Spear of Xuen was already BiS due to it having 1600 more damage than it closest competitor, add another 1k to that and everyone who can use a 2her better be using it.
