Is there any way to access your alt's garrison?

I'm trying to get the recipes off the draenor mat traders, but between the random nature of their showing up and the fact that most players have left their garrisons behind I think it's wildly unlikely to see any available the few times a year I do resub. Accessing through one of my own alts would be easier, but it's hard to have two toons on the same account logged at the same time.

I have all my toons on one account and don't have any interest in multi-account shenanigans, which I admit would be the easiest option. Failing that, is there any way to sneak into the garrison of a higher level character and access everything that way?

You used to be able to group with yourself in group finder. You make a group, list it, log other character and join group, log back and accept the request, log back. You could use this to port yourself with your higher level mage. It might work for this.

Tried that before, although I needed someone else to help with the grouping since 20s can't use group finder. As soon as the high level character logged off they stopped counting as party lead for visiting the garrison. I might have to try again while the high level is smacking away at a target dummy to stay in combat, to see if that lets them count as on longer.

U just need to find someone with a high level Garrison and a sub. Put a call out on Discord or here for any help.
I dropped 1 month sub yesterday so can help if ur on late night Aussie times?

I thought about that. But since "people with multiple L3 garrisons on US-alliance who would be willing to sort through all of them for nearly a week" sounded a touch unlikely, I figured I'd ask about a way that didn't involve hassling other people first.

You can also open 2 clients at once and alt tab between the two.
Log to main, set group, alt tab to next client and log in alt.
It's an almost instant version of using alt-f4. It will log out the main instantly when the 2nd client logs in on the alt. Counts as a disconnect
