Is the Book of the Dead actually worth the grind?

On resto sham I swap between furblog pouch and shield. The healing helps for staying alive

I cant remeber which ive been working to much, but i thought it worked in either instanced pve or pvp??

All of the druids and casters in our guild dont think the proc is worth it, the boa off hand has more stats. Cant say on anything besides bg crate offhand or the random world drop off hands possibly?

the main issue i find with the book is that your skellys keep you in combat attacking random targets. I prefer the boa offhand because of this.

Neither the medicine pouch or the book of the dead are worth, as mentioned above, the skeletons just keep you in combat and green boes tend to be just as good stat wise, and if you're shooting for int stacking, there are certain boes that give upwards of 23 or 24 int rather than the usual 21. As for the medicine pouch, it doesn't heal at all so no one should even both using it as it's just a stat loss.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I won't be farming it. I want to ask you this as well: Is Blade of Eternal Darkness worth it for balance? On paper it looks great.
yep, only thing that would compare is a hand of edward the odd scaled to 47

Yeah the dagger is worth it! It took me around 7 runs which i heard wasnt to bad? But ive also heard people say it hasnt dropped for them after a bunch of runs but i must of gotten lucky!?

Does the mana proc on fist of stone work? Im not sure if its procced at all? Everytime I swap while resto and low on mana im always in combat and can never tell which blows

sadly, hand of edward the odd doesn't proc for anyone under level 60, it seems to have a lvl requirment similar to that of the brewfest trinkets. Blade of eternal darkness is definitely worth on any caster that can equip it. The shadow bolts do anywhere between 150 and 200 dmg, and can crit, and they proc fairly often.
