Is reporting people using glitch really doing something?

well this has been around for a good bit now, and blizz has not noticed/patched it yet. i think it would be fair now to call it a 'jump' instead of a glitch. the best solution is to learn it to get to those using it even if you dont want to use it yourself (as i do). i dont really like when people use it since its not one of the jumps that has always been around (tun roof jumps, fence jump, etc)
but reporting players, especially on the other faction, i dont believe does much

lol @ you blacking out the names.

haha i didn't want to cause any trouble, even if i don't support it,

it's more blizzard fault for not patching his game, and yeah i'm pretty sure they are aware of the problem :(

lol, in fact the druid did it in front of me, but it took me some seconds to realize he was staying there

i was quite amazed by the fact that i never noticed this spot before although WSG is my favourite bg.

Jumping on a small ledge =/= walking through an obvious wall, so I wouldn't call this a glitch. Having never done it myself, though... is a person up there unable to be range-attacked?

Kincaide, are you back? PM me please!

I've been reported so many times for "exploiting" and have never received a warning or ban.

They don't permaban people who actually cheat as they have displayed time and time again, basically you are wasting your time.

Doing something you clearly arent ment to do = glitch.

That's kind of the same thing that I'm saying. If you model a ledge and give it a surface people can stand on, then in the absence of any other evidence, it would seem it's deliberate. Walking through a clearly-modeled wall that has its collision set wrong, however, is certainly a glitch.

I don't think the point of this thread was to argue about what does and does not constitute a glitch, though. If you think a modeled and deliberate ledge is as much of a glitch as walking through a wall, then more power to you.

That spot in general is a glitch. There's an invisible ledge you have to jump on to get up there anyway. Horde used to have a similar spot, but would actually physically hide your character. It was latex patched.
