EU Is 70's dead on EU Alliance?

    • I recently made a 70 alliance mage twink, and I can't seem to get any 2v2 skirmish pops.
    Is alliance population so little in this bracket, that it is essentially impossible to get pops if you solo queue?

    I find soloqueueing extremely lame, and I don't see the appeal for others either. You're just going to have to pray that your partner isn't completely oblivious to how the game works, otherwise you lose every match?

    Unless of course you play one of the following (in no particular order):

    Unholy DK
    Enha Shaman
    Rogue
    Feral

    Then you can have a decent time soloqueueing I suppose, because you can 1v2 bad teams.

    I play rogue but i'll only have like a 50% win ratio with randoms. I play solo because i don't really like spamming queue i just do it when im bored so if i partner up ill stop after 2-3 (even if we win all of them)

    I don't necessarily dislike duo Q'ing (haven't done it at 70 yet tho'), however, it is the most fun when you face other "real" teams so to say. Solo Q'ing can get a tiny bit frustrating when you know you literally only lose because the other team is duo Q'ing, and they aren't even that great. But you still lose because the random you get just doesn't go well with you symbiotically, or skill-wise. Or just due to the fact that some comps are just really strong. Feral healer, rogue healer, DK healer just as a few mentions.
     
    Most of my tinks are on Stormscale, used to play a little with Razqt back in the days, when his rogue was horde - But I stopped playing my twinks when they implemented skirmishes instead of rated arenas - They just make no sense to me anymore. I assume I could play my 70 tink warlock, but I don't really see the reason :(

    Isnt Ante Amante still active on Argent Dawn EU? (ally ofc)

    To be fair, twink rated arenas made little sense to begin with. It also ruined the endgame ladder quite a bit when you think about it. However, if people are still looking for that carrot on a stick to keep them motivated, the bragging rights from the datamined skirmish ladder should accomplish the same thing, of course without the ingame treats.

    (As to bragging rights, you'd know if you are entitled to it or not, yes, I'm talking to you feral players out there).
