Irvine

I'm in the Irvine, CA area for the next couple of days and I know nothing about the area. Any of you guys from around here that can tell me what there is to do or what I should see before I head home?

Im from socal. idk theres Disneyland, Knotts, Universal walk, The block, Irvine spectrum, The Blizzard building,... just off the top of my head

well being in Irvine it is going to be a pain in the ass dealing with traffic if you plan on going into LA (ie: city walk, Downtown, Observatory). Not trying to discourage leaving irvine just letting you know traffic is a pain in the ass. But hey you should check out Venice Beach or Santa Monica (samo since it is less ghetto).

Ride his nuts a little harder there kid. God knows you do in every other thread he posts in.

LoL you can insult me all you want i just smile at the post. =)

People are entitled to post their suggestions as to what Inkobah should experience while in the CA area, without being attacked for their opinions. I cleaned up the thread, stick on topic guys. If you disagree with what's worth seeing, say it in a constructive way or why you disagree and for the love of god add something you'd think would be worth seeing instead. Don't just try to ruin things to ruin things.

Also; Evade, the comment was unnecessary baiting.

Best regards,

My apologies, didn't intend for that to be the meaning, Judging from past threads on the issue, a fail troll attempt was bound to happen.

Southern California is beautiful, imo. Especially if you can get away from all the development. If you don't mind a drive, Joshua Tree isn't too far away. Mission at San Juan Capistrano is okay. Find any state/national park. Or just even going for a drive in canyons/mountains.

In & Out Burger is a chain of burger joints that are kind of old-fashioned and almost "required eating" in the LA area. Fish tacos are popular out there; tho I still can't get my head around that combination, personally. Mexican out there is fantastic, too; NYC/urban Mexican places tend to be kind of village-y while in Cali it's very fresh and really worth having.

Also, if you don't mind driving across LA, the Getty Museum is great almost as much for its architecture as its collections.
