Iron Boot Flask damage buff

Legend
For all the veteran people that still have an active sub, consider geting the Iron Boot Flask toy, because the Dwarf Form has a hidden effect, similar with shaman's Lightning Shield:has a chance when struck to hit the attacker for 100ish nature damage. The flask is useable at level 20, it isn't cancelled upon mounting, form-changing, for druids, and has a 10 min duration with a 1-hour cooldown.
The quest for it is in Storm Peaks and the quest givers are Olut Alegut (H) and Rork Sharpchin(A). You will need 20 Relic of Ulduar, that are easily farmed in Halls of Lightning.

it's a very small amount of overall dmg <1%, mostly for lols.

The things we have done as twinks for 2 more attack power. Lol. Que up for AV today Healbot. I enjoy our /Bg banter lol

Oh kk =)
And HB is right, if Starters only knew the hell we went through to gain the little sliver of damage
Err, didn't starters have to work hard to get their toons geared too ?!
you would not be bitching about speed pots.

About using swiftness pots... you have brought an interesting topic out there. I'm pretty sure, when i'm against a team of 4+ 29s, i would use it, idd.

Someone (old starter account) told me: "When you are against them, you gotta use every tool you have, for they have the most advantage. "

Cata starters had just a taste of what it was like to be a vanilla/tBC twink.
And yes, farming BoP items are infinately better on a starter compared to the "days of yore". As in you could not farm for them.
Today's twinking is totally different than it used to be. That is not to say it isn't better.
But that is not what this thread is about.

For Veterans, the relics show up on the AH from time to time. I am sure they are pretty cheap.

Why Vet? Isn't this still pretty easy to get just by farming the coins with a high level?

If i remeber correctly to unlock the vendor that sells this toy, it required a quest in storm peaks that req lvl 70 something. can vets actually get this get this? because the relics are farmable on a f2p also. just curious

Could not tell you if the quest is available to a lvl 20. I believe the OP stated it was. I do not tend to think people would intentionally lie on these forums about something like that.
Veterans, while their sub is active, can just walk right up to the AH and purchase the relics. There is no need to farm them. Simple as pie. If there are none, just keep trying. They will eventually show up. Patience is a virtue.

The relics are farmable as a f2p, you are right. But F2Ps cannot obtain the toy, nor can vets or whatever. As you mentioned, there is a quest that requires lv 70, in order to make the toy able to be sold from the vendor, you must complete that quest. Wich totally makes it unobtainable for f2ps or vets.

Well, not entirely. You can easily get a character to 70 and pick up the toy within 30 days before your account enters veteran status. The toy is account wide.

(I realise that's probably not what you meant, I just wanted to clarify it for anyone else reading)

Ding ding ding!! Winner winner chicken dinner!
That is what I meant by Vet.
With all the time you guys got. You all ought to be able to level a DK up in no time.

Leveling took me 20 days because of my lazy butt.

EDIT : My 98 paladin, need like 5k exp to ding to 99 and i cba to level him >.> ....

I leveled a toon to 100 with two pet dailies. The one in Elwynn and the one just across the bridge. No more than a few min a day. Log in, battle for < 30 sec rinse&repeat log off. Just make it a daily ritual and you will have a 100 in no time. Before long you will have two, then three. And you can get that Garrisonville rolling and have a steady 25-30k income per Garrison. It is all about efficiency and time management.
It is great way to get all of your heirlooms if you do not have them and to upgrade them all. I had all but the new ones and had upgraded all that I could before 6.1. If not it would cost you over 325k for everything.

It has been like that for quite some time. Many, not all, dailies scale with level. Such as city fishing and cooking dailies and the pet dailies. And seasonal dailies as well. I would presume all the dailies that do not have a hard level requirement. Of coarse you can get almost 50% xp bonus from heirlooms and then 20% from the excessive learning potion. 80-90 xp requirements were reduced drastically right before 6.0. They were cut in 1/2. So it was a breeze to get to 90 when that happened. I just turned in 1000s of golden carp in Halfhill at a repeatable daily there.
