EU+US Invasion Helm better than Goggles

I was working a 19 belf disc priest. Afking at invasions until I got a full set of warforged gear.

I went into a bg with the highest ilevel gear i had including mist goggles, 2 rocks and the necklace. My total ilevel was 40.

I took off the googles and replaced them with a regular, not warforged invasion helmet.

My ilevel went down to 36 but my spellpower went up by 8.

Didn't notice any other changes but there might be.

Also, there seems to be 2 kinds of warforged items. I have some that are ilevel 29 and some that are ilevel 34.

Mists don't have an armor type so you don't get the bonus for wearing all same armor type (cloth).

This is a bit old news, but items without any armor type are not used in your stat template. That means using your Primary Armor Type will net you the best stats. There was a BiS Priest sitting next to me wearing Mist-Piercing Goggle sitting at 5.8k HP. I, on the other hand, was sitting full BoAs, item level 1 wrist, hands, belt, and item level 10 rings, I had 6k HP. Mist-piercing is no longer BiS.

LFH is BiS but GF'd ATM. GMCC is NOT BiS @ 19 because you can only get 150 Eng. IIRC.

It is BiS for clothies only. Dunno if its back again with legion, but it should be available again later.

Generally iffy strategies such as relying on a GM to give you a delevel or otherwise unobtainable item aren't usually listed. Especially when the consequence is that your 19 is no longer in the bracket.
