Interesting quest items - Cloth

Legend
I knew about quest items scaling in strange ways I just never figured out how to efficiently filter them on Wowhead.

Finally I've solved the problem and after some searching I've discovered some interesting items for Cloth wearers.
These aren't necessarily bis pieces, just items with inflated stats compared to others at this level.

Cloaks:
Drape of Distilled Hatred
Haste/Vers
Chain Link Towel
Vers
Crackling Cloak
Haste

Rings:
Unsparing Band
Vers
Earthbinder's Regenerating Band
Vers
Nimblefinger Band
Haste

Chest:
Xakxak's Lab Frock - Alliance only
Vers

Boots:
Kilix's Silk Slippers
Haste/vers
These aren't amazing but they have 1 or 2 stats above the blue bg crate boots
Durtfeet Stompers
Vers

Bracers:
Dastardly Bracers - Alliance Only
Vers
Festering Bracers - Alliance Only
Crit

Neck:
Iceflow Collar
Vers

Hands:
Unsanitary Gloves - Alliance Only
Crit
Informants Gloves
Haste
Blauvelt's Special Occasion Gloves
Vers

Off Hand:
Thermostatic Egg Timer
Crit
Manual of the Tides
Crit/Haste

Weapon One Hand:
Kobold Torch
Crit
Tethis' Skull
Vers
Scepter of the Winterfin
Haste/Vers

Staff:
Stave of the Windborn
Crit/Haste

Legs:
Legwork Trousers
Crit
Fuzzy Legwarmers (A) / Sassy Pantaloons (H)
Vers

Trinkets:
Not inflated stats but interesting
Vial of Renewal
Int/Haste
Ancient Crystal Talisman
Int/Spellpower

Belt:
Embossed Ermine Girlde
Vers
Gholamcloth Wrap
Vers/2 x socket
Sweltering Belt
Haste

Shoulders:
Wrathwrought Shoulderpads
Crit/Haste
Flint-Reinforced Spaulders
Vers
Terrorcloth Mantle
Vers/2 sockets

Hope you found this useful - I could start different armour types if people are interested.

Good job, going to forward this to my brother whom is lazy beyond understanding.

Though I feel like you are feeding men who ought to already know how to fish.

Anything that helps people break into a bracket & enjoy themselves is a good thing in my eyes.

Would love to see an alliance Priest pick up all the vers gear and see how much they could stack!

Man you rock!
If only we know at what ratio it is worth trading stats (Int : Vers / Int : Haste / Vers : Crit).
We got shitton of crit from gems, but it is still questionable if you trade Vers:Crit 1:3, Vers:Intel 2:1.
Also spec plays role (Vers is OP for healer, while as Shadow I prefer Haste). Vers overloaded Disc could be immortal, but I play Disc in PvE only :p .
I can try obtaining some gear for secondary stat sets.
[doublepost=1543411166,1543411135][/doublepost]That sweet Vers chest tho...
[doublepost=1543411242][/doublepost]Also dont forget Mindtap Talisman. Seems greatly scaled to me too (even if it is not quest item)

Yeah, stat weights all come down to class, spec and how many stats u currently have.
You can work them out if you tweak a sim.

Generally I think it's safe to say that 1 int = 2 versa in terms of damage and healing output. But when you factor in the damage reduction it holds even more strength in pvp.

I kept all of the dungeon drops out and make this exclusively Quest items.

I can kind of help with that.

Before you factor in your current secondaries, buffs or class mechanics; for 60's being scaled to 69 in BGs:

(Mainstat+40)/105 : 14.34 Crit : 8.67 Haste : 10.83 Versatility : 1%

Afterwards, it gets a lot harder, and I'd need a lot more information unique to your character to give accurate figures

Edit: Forgot to say those weights factor in PvP crit suppression.

Typically, for Int and Agi classes, the only Crit you should get is in your 5/5 gems

I think this is probably the most versatility you can get? Probably a better replacement ring and maybe a few enchants I've missed.

If anyone knows what this translates to in % @ level 60 please do let me know!

At level 60 it says that 1% = 10.03 Versa. If this is true, the above build would give you.....*drumroll pls*......

That's it! I'm faction changing my priest or mage.... then switching back after I loot the cabinets and eat all of the cookies >:]

What is the high vers quest staff called. Having troubles finding it on wowhead. But was mentioned in 59 bracket
I'm not familiar with the quest staff, but I saw a green on the AH called Foamspittle Staff that's a low drop from murloc oracles in westfall, at 60 it has 29 versatility

But how much Int do you have in that set?
According to his set 178 Intelect, if he is using vers gems (4 slots) as he writes.
Could have been made smarter. This is purely theoretical max Versatility set (still pretty interesting).

-Also Vigilance Charm is NOT Versatility, but Haste.

Correct.

Ah shit you're right. Well the pvp defender trinkets would be a good substitute at 12 versa.

I forgot to add in a weapon and offhand too so this % could be higher.

There are quite a few warriors out there that are stacking full vers and can easily hit 35%. They're pretty much unkillable in a 1v1 unless you're a ret pala, decent mage or godlike rogue.

I mean - this build will possibly have dmg like low geared leveler because of low primary stat, but imagine going Versatility Disco Priest FC with Body and Soul talent x)

It would be really interesting to see what kind of damage/healing this build would do. 40% is nothing to sneeze at. This plus Focused Will would be crazy tanky.

I think this build plus this trinket - Force of Will would make a great fc

Very strange that most of these items are alliance only. i've looked through leather, mail and cloth now. Most of these over-scaled items are alliance only quest rewards

I have been trying to gather this type of gear on my DK with some slots unfinished (chest) and others i valued less versa over strength (ring), i do feel a LOT more tankier but the lack of crit is equally noticeable. It is kinda of hard to distinguish whats best full str or versa hmm
