Int hunter not enough Damage?

let's count the nubs...you and?

a 5% chance to root your target on hit is just not worth the itemization in general. in a 1v1 arena...well, not so bad. i did not say "do not get it". dual gnomer is just superior in general.

Ya ur right the best 29 item in the bracket is totally not worth it. What was I thinking? 2x gnomer is WAY better.

But when playing outside imagination land, dmh is better and your just a nub.

maybe i just didn't remember it is epic. must be the best item of the bracket.

razz's to gain 15hit is bullsht compared to this epic-omg-i-do-not-wanna-die-best-item-of-the-bracket-item.

well, i don't want to change the mind of anybody, but tell me a nub, cause i don't focus on another tool to stay alive as a hunter is a little bit...arrogant.

depends on the situation which is better :p

the point is, DMH is typically better than charged gear.

in WSG you are against 10 players. even if you are a hunter, chances are you're going to get into games that are very difficult because the opposing team is much better than yours. in this case, DMH is a very good item to have because if you have a few people trying to beat down on you, and you can only CC some of them for sometime, a DMH proc comes in handy.

you also have to remember that you don't always start at full hp/mana against others, so you also need that proc sometimes in that regard.

just so you people know about this...

the next thing is not exactly right, later post will be

---------------------------------------------------------------

basically...

AGILITY = 2x AP (12 agi = 24 ap) + armor & crit

INTELLECT = 1x AP (12 int = 12 ap) + mana & spell crit + mana regen

---------------------------------------------------------------

so basically that build goes all the way from +AGI and +INT forgetting everything when it comes to stamina. works well with all big stam chants like shoulders and legs not to forget the boots and hat. otherwise its not all that effective, even worse at 29.

for weapons, you go with dual +22 intellect, the rest is gotten by AGILITY which is just simply better for hunters !

full intellect build < full agility build

but a good mix of both makes it optimal if you ask me.

agi adds crit, int adds mana.

as you need both, the mix is king.

for pure dmg agi is superior, but you need enough mana to unload it. your mana needs to outlast some heals and maybe a second target. knowing this, get a huge amount of agi gear and switch in int until you are satisfied.

Naturalh, i'll check again, but the mechanics changes for the different classes.

its not always what's written into the stats on your screen.

seems it changed recently then...

Hunters,[2] rogues, shamans (as of 3.0.2) and druids in Cat Form[3] gain 1 melee attack power per point of agility.

that's where i saw the 2AP for each agility point though...

Twinking

notes Noticing the link to shadowpanther.net, it might be worthwhile to point out that the Crit from Agility is not as powerful as it is later in progression. A top tier level 19 Twink (as of 2.3) has white dps of around 35-40 (higher if they sacrifice HP) for their Main Hand weapon. Given that, for physical damage, 1% of crit will increase DPS by no more than .3 to .5 at that range. 1 point of Agility (for a level 19 twink) may be worth closer to 1.5 AP, as opposed to a full 2. This would mean that items such as [Blackened Defias Belt] would be worth closer to 12 AEP (perhaps surpassing the [Deviate Scale Belt] with its 11 AEP)

This would not affect just AP, however. The AEP value of Agility itself (and also Crit Rating) scales with 2 things: diminishing returns as player level increases, and DPS. On the other hand, Strength, Stamina, and AP all add a fixed gain.

use to do it back then, but i guess that when the change for the dodge rating and all at low level changed it also effected the overall dps of everybody. hadn't though of it that way before. but i knew that at 19, it wasn't 1 for 1. so its still important to keep agility for a hunter or rogue due to what they give.

i'll do some testing to be sure but i wasn't MM before and i'm quite sure we get more from agility dps wise then intellect. i hate maths though, but twinking comes to that for half the job right ?

sorry, didn't realize wanting to stay alive was considered "arrogant"...
