Int hunter not enough Damage?

Ok, if any has time or is interested in critiquing my hunter build and spec, i would appreacate it.

I tried going for an Int build ( i hate running out of mana) but i feel that i may have lost a lot of damage by doing so.

Perhaps i need to swap out an int wep enchant for agility?

Is that going to help with my current spec? etc etc

the point in focused aim seems wasted imo

and why not go for +4 stats on your bracers? you gain 4 stam 4 agil (crit and ap) and only lose 45 mana

oh and switch your off hand with your main hand, it hits much harder than the butcher for those rare raptor strikes / melee moments

Wow you really did go hard out int didnt ya lol.

Switch bracer enchant from 7 int to 24 ap for starters, gallans cuffs are being wasted with a 7 int enchant. Id switch out the helm for a 9/9 monkey. Keep the weapon enchants as is.

Might wanna look into...

^ Tbc enchantable.

I wouldn't recommend getting the bleeding crescent cause I would imagine your fairly close to leveling as it is

and just cause its bc enchantable doesnt really make it worthwhile to me I mean what would you get? +30 int is the best one I can think of or maybe +20 agil?

Assuming we are are exchanging it with zealot...

Bleeding crescent +30 int vs zealot blade +22 int.

+3 int on bleeding, +6 spirit on zealot.

Int = ap, mana... Spirit = trash.

Weapon dps shouldnt come into question really cause good hunters dont get melleed.

Only mentioned the weapon because alot of horde hunters dont know they have a tbc available weapon to them is all *shrug*.

Thanks for the replies :)

So Bracers +4 stats or 24ap?

I might look into quest for Bleeding crescent, have 4 bars left :(

Might have to camp out side Org for a week to get unrested xp.

"I cannot see your hunter currentlly, although the whole basis behind the Int hunter is grabbing careful aim in MM, so you offset in ap what you lose from agi, then gain mana as well. "

Yeh i specced into careful aim. then i changed my spec from all MM to MM surv, pretty sure i kept ca tho.

as I previously said

+4 stats = 40 hp, 8 ranged ap, small amount of crit, and 60 mana.

while 26 atp is just 26 atp.. its your decision.

If you want some bracers with +7 int enchant on them try using those barbaric bracers with +7 int on them instead of wasting your gallan cuffs

get a 9/9 falcon hat...no need to libram it, 3.1 will come.

150 mana libram is wasted itemization.

gallan with AP. yes, 4stats is ok, but pure AP will do more DMG.

do not think about weapons...they are ok as is. but switch zealot to MH.

and if someone tells you to get a crescent, just use 2xbutcher^^ more stats.

the only thing viable is to use crescent with 30int and switch to a weapon with agi...

oO epic stam ring on a hunter??? get your charged gear of monkey/falcon. pfff, get two of em. 2xcharged gear is the perfect setup.

and change back to MM. focused aim + aimed shot is just too good. scatter is not worth it.

I'd be willing to bet he didnt know that. Nubs are commonplace here, you should know this by now :p

let's count the nubs...you and?

a 5% chance to root your target on hit is just not worth the itemization in general. in a 1v1 arena...well, not so bad. i did not say "do not get it". dual gnomer is just superior in general.

IMO you're focusing too much on mana. lose the hat, replace it with http://www.wowhead.com/?item=4724 with +8 agil on it. as was said earlier, the gallan cuffs are bascally pointless too.

sure mana is nice but not main priority for a hunter. my mage is only rocking 1800 mana and i do fine on him. sure you'll have to use viper once in a while but it'll be worth it in the long run.

/facepalm

DMH procs from ranged hits, spells etc. that's why it's so good.

also the 100 hp is useful since (s?)he only has about 1800.
