Hello everyone. :)

I just barely registered to this forum because I needed help and I knew I could get some here.

I've always loved twinks and always wanted one of my own but I never got around to actually creating one. Now that Cataclysm has finally gone Live, I was thinking that maybe, when I have time, I should make myself one.

Now, I have experienced playing with all the classes when it comes to PvP and I like them all except for Shamans. I didn't really find it as fun as the other classes but they did pretty good.

I want help though on choosing a class that I wouldn't just be constantly dying but also that isn't used by everyone in the bracket. (Like Hunters and Rogues, or so I hear.)

I really like the idea of having a Warlock but I know survivability would be a problem because of those pesky Shadow stepping Rogues.

So my question to you guys is, "What class is good and fun as of now?"

Thanks in advance. :)

For melee feral drood is probably your best choice, good damage, utility, and survivability. If you like caster dps mage seems like a good choice, balance druid works too. If you prefer a healer then I'd say priest or drood. Notice these are not necessarily the most viable, but they are viable and you wont look like a fotm hpally/hunter/rogue. You could always go with your first instinct and make a lock though, rogue burst is not what it was and in all honesty your best bet is to play a class/spec that will keep you interested.

Thanks for the replies. :D

And well priests are one of my favorites too but what kind of spec would give meh the most Survivability and allow meh to pull off sufficient damage?

As for Druids: I do like Cat form but I find that their survivability isn't too good either. But then again, who's is? *Points at Holy pallies*

Maybe if I told you guys that Retrieving the flag in WSG and protecting a nod in AB are my favorite things to do; that would help. Haha.

This sounds like maybe a Feral Druids Role right?

This is controversial. Now i would go Holy/Disc. Both can do damage and can help keep a team alive. Now if you do make a priest you could go shadow if you get bored of Holy/disc. But shadow is not very good in PuGs unless you know wth you are doing(as in not jerking off in MF).

For what you want to do prot pally would prolly be the best choice. Ferals have great survivability, you just have to learn to kite away and heal up and not be afraid to drop into bear form.

Priests role best as holy, as they get a stun and desperate prayer. If you like what evangelism and penance do, then go for disc.

Holy/Prot paladins are the common FCs, but any of them can handle it as long as they know how.

Protecting in AB, feral/balance druids and rogues do well, and ele shamans dominate lumber mill and sometimes blacksmith.

Yea I usually don't jerk off muc-... I mean, yea I'm not distracted much. ^_^"

Yea I hear ferals do have great survivability too and and kiting is a problem for meh when it comes to being a druid.

A Protection Pally? Sounds like it may be fun. Haha.

What kind of thihns should I invest in that would be useful for the roles I would be wanting to do?

Personally, I like hunters, mages, pallys (Prot or holy. Not no fan of ret.) If you have Cataclysm rolling a feral druid could be fun if you make a worgen since they have some pretty nice racials.

I have a Holy Priest, Balance Druid, Rogue, Hunter and Warrior. My druid is my favorite twink. That's what I would go with. :D

I was actually looking at the guides and I remembered of the good times I had when my Nelf Priest was still 19 and it was awesome.

Sweet memories of meh running away from 8 Hordies as I single handily ran away from them all for our base for 15 minutes straight and I died after the FC debuff thanks to my stupid team. -_-

It was fun though, so I think I've made my decision of going with a Night Elf Priest. Thanks guys. ;)
