im curious about the activity of the 75-79 bracket

i've been thinking this may be quite a fun bracket. im just unsure of it's activity. if i go to 79 and it's **** can always test out 80. thoughts?

I don't know of any games going on in the US or EU 75-79 bracket. From a gearing perspective, most blue cata gear comes available at 78, but the resil-laden wrathful set requires 80. Plus, no mastery at 79.



It would make for an interesting bracket. Come to think of it, many classes may do best at 78, if you can walk in to a cata dungeon at that level (LFG won't work until 80).

I'm lvling mage slowly, 73 atm and i was planning to make 79 twink for fun. Im sure it will be more balanced bracked than 80-84 because big health pool and no mastery avaible.

I know some people who twinked it, there aren't a lot of twinks but its very fun. Tried it a couple times with boe's while i leveled past. Costs u like 50k to make a decent twink though I reckon

http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/medivh/Hallk/simple this is something i wanna work on. i had a 78 warrior so though wth... you can physically walk into the instance in order to get the BoP blues. Surely arena's / wargames with this gear would be a lot more fun and possibly more balanced? i am not even close to finished but it's fun dueling outside SW. only done like 2 duels though :S

U cant do any arenas or wargames at this level. Might be possible if u join a team on 70 and go to 79, and then have another team do the same but what are the odds of that ever getting popular

if anybody is interested in trying this out, pm for my real ID and we can just do the pve dungeons for cata. i can get a group summoned there. might make a tank set and see if others are interested, then we can make a Real ID formed group and give it a shot!



edit: going to work on engi and LW, then if the bracket is **** i can go 80 prepared!!

i leveled out of 70 early wotlk, then left at 77 and leveled my priest. so i wanna do something constructive with it

While i was leveling my pally to 85 i saw a 79 blood DK with 71k health that solo farmed the entire other team. So complete domination is possible.

Did some 78-79 on my hunter in cata gear.

The critt% was beyond insane along with the burst, activity wasn't all bad either.

Charge up aimed and follow with chimera for 45-50k burst...Survival dps was pretty nice as well tbh!

Standing on the wall of that BG with the 2 castles and 2 shotting ftw.
